I really hate giving this game a bad mark. If I were judging it all around I would give it a strong 7.5. But dag nabbit if there just wasn't that one fatal flaw. The animation is good, it plays really easy, and it's fun. Judging by the high score you have to know there is something amiss. |

And it's just a shame. Didn't they have video game testers back then? Shouldn't someone have noticed the glaring error staring them in the face? Now I warn you: if you have this game and you don't know what I am talking about, turn away now. Please. I beg you. You will never play this game the same again if you know. It will make you feel sick inside, like realizing the girl you've been lusting over from afar is really a pre pubescent boy.

If you must know, then prepare for the anticlimax of your life:
If you are serving and you press "down" (meaning you are aiming for the space between your opponents), they will never hit the ball. Once you realize how to do it, you can never lose. And that is the formula for no fun (as I have opined in other social commentary). |

I know, you're thinking "well, I just won't do that". I was one of you. It's all just a big lie. You're lying to yourself. You will do whatever it takes to win and you don't give a care whose neck you step on. Cuz when it comes down to it, and the game's on the line, and you know, you know you can win, are you still gonna leave it up to chance?
