My Slow Descent Into Loserhood - My Atari Games
GORF
Rating: 6.5

Gorf is "frog" spelled backwards.  About the only game it doesn't copy is Frogger.

This game has 4 parts (3 pictured here).  The first is a copy of Space Invaders.  If you love Space Invaders, well then, you... you'll... uh...
The second is a copy of several other games, among them Phoenix

The lack of originality in this game is really quite unprecedented.  Rather than just take the hackneyed ideas of "space" "lasers" and "enemy aliens" by themselves, the creators thought it would be just as prudent to steal parts of other games and call the whole conglomeration of nonsense "Gorf".
And bravo to them for doing it.

Well done.  When you take a risk two things can happen.  Either you end up making something unique and special, or tremendously tragic.

But if you just make a clone of every other successful game, you will always succeed.  And your motivation is the noblest of all.
The third part of the game (left) is the most unique, though barely.  I like to call it: "impregnate your high school girlfriend in the back seat of her daddy's Ford Taurus while it's parked in the alley behind the McDonald's where you once saw a guy vomit on the floor and then continue to eat his meal".

I'm sure you have some similar name for it.
