| This is another droving poem inspired after visiting the Stockmen�s Hall of Fame in Longreach Queensland and doing a few four wheel drive trips out past Birdsville and down the Birdsville Track. It also helped having a couple of beers at the famous Blue Heeler Pub at Kynuna, Queensland.
The Blue Heeler Blues It was three months ago last Friday since we left the Isa�s booze And I lived in this damned saddle with the red sand dunes for views So is it any wonder I�ve got The old Blue Heeler blues I�ve followed on behind a thousand head that �moos� There�s steers of every colour; And there�s cows of every hue And every mile they travel they add more dust to These old Blue Heeler blues The End |

| Here is a picture of the famous Birdsville Pub which is an Australian Icon. It is situated on the Diamontina River & is renowned for the Bush Races held each year when thousands of visitors come to enjoy the outback atmosphere. . Droving Tracks also pass nearby due to the water available. Birdsville was named for the great flocks of Parrots that nest in the trees along the river |
