| This is me on my David Brown D30 Tractor at the Braidwood Heritage Parade in 2004. The David Brown was built in England by the David Brown Co. who also made the Aston Martin Sports Cars. David Brown were originally a Gear Manufacturing Co. but got involved in Tractors in 1936 with Harry Ferguson of 3 Point Linkage Fame! |
| David Brown D25 and D30 Tractors were built between 1953 and 1958. My D30 is a 1954 model. When David Brown was choosing a colour for his tractors he told his paint shop he wanted them painted in the colour of the English fox hunting jacket. The colour is described as "Hunting Pink" which is actually a bright red. This is a pic of the DAVID BROWN D30 after a quick respray for a T.V. commercial filmed at the historic town of Tilba. The colour is as close as we could get to the original "Hunting Pink" colour. |
