SALT ROCK GRILL - Favorite Pick

This place has it all.  Everything from  natural oak wood pit fire steaks to wood grilled split king crab legs.  I use to live right next door to this place and has 3 lively bars.  Might even catch a famous face there if you're lucky.  Opens at 4:00, happy hour 4-5, and the place fills up fast.  My usual is the Top Sirloin and a few specialty martinis.  Thumbs up to the atmosphere, service, and excellent food...not to mention the lively outdoor deck bar with a view of the inter-coastal waterway, simply can't beat it!

BAHAMA BREEZE - Best Bar

~For a moment you may actually feel as if you're in the Bahamas.  This popular Tampa watering hole has excellent Caribbean food and drink! Try the 22oz Aruba Red draft (named after a fiery red haired woman pirate from 200 years ago) that is brewed exclusively for Bahama Breeze.   They have a lively Tiki Deck and wild island like decor inside.  During warmer months ask for the private Sunset Deck that only has a few tables hidden out back.  We love dining out here and relaxing watching the airplanes come in over the water.  Overall fun place with the biggest drink menu I've seen. I  recommend the New York Strip Steak or Jerk chicken Pasta.  For an appetizer the Creole Baked Goat Cheese in roasted red bell peppers is awesome.  For a stiff drink order a "Godfather" or for a yummy daiquiri go with a "Grasshopper, Orange Dreamsicle, German Chocolate Cake, and my fav... Banana Creme Pie"

Spinners Rooftop Revolving Bistro - Best View (Holiday Inn St Pete Beach)

Without a doubt, best panoramic view on the beach.  It all begins in the glass elevator that takes you up 12 floors where expansive views of the Gulf, St Petersburg skyline and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge await you.  The food here is so so, but the stiff drinks and the view more than make up for it.  The Pu Pu Platter is pretty tasty though.  Plus check out the live band after 9 and hit the dance floor...did I mention the floor of this place actually rotates 1mph!

Caddy's On The Beach

Excellent live reggae, Smoked corned beef, free beach chairs...Guinness...what more could you want?

Brewmaster Steakhouse
ALL U CAN DRINK with dinner (wine 4.99 and beer 3.49) and don't forget happy hour til 7' $1.60 manhattans, whiskey sour and martinis.  Good place for an affordable meal, a buzz, and nice outdoor deck on the intercoastal.  Service is hit and miss, but I haven't had a bad meal there.  I recommend the Steak Diane, the good ol Big Mamoo, or the fried shrimp.  For the free refill wines I like the Red and the Sangria...You can even check out comedian G. David Howard after dinner in the evening.

This place will take you to a topical island in the South pacific.  An awesome bar, and a dining room full of island decor with little tiki huts and dancing waterfalls...Hmmm the Cajun Chicken Pasta here is awesome and so are the drinks!  Try the huge Beach Memories Martini heh.
