I haven't written in this journal for a long time. In fact, I don't even remember when the last time was. I think it was sometime in early September or late August because I remember writing that I miss Nathan and Michelle. Okay, I think it was early September, because Nathan wasn't gone until September 3, I think. So, yeah. I've been delinquent.
In October I went to the John Birch Society council dinner in New Jersey with Miss G. I got to see all of my friends from camp! It was great. I saw Chloe, and Rebecca Sampayo, and her brother, David, and Sarah Sankovich. It was awesome. Sarah and David were the two teen speakers at the event, and I felt wicked special because they're both really good friends of mine. I mean, they both signed my guestbook. But David's signing was a little weird, so you can disregard it. But, hey, his name's up there. And they posted their speeches on
RWYouth, and I'll soon be doing the same, once I get time to work on this here website.
At the end of October, me and Leah went to see the Lord of the Rings Exhibit at the Museum of Science. It was cool. But after an hour of looking at everything and bumping into people who were, like, OBSESSED (i.e. "This isn't really Gandalf's outfit. He never wore it in the book."), I was pretty much done. I think the coolest thing there was the wax figure of Boromir in the boat. It looked SO REAL. So, me and Leah were allowed to go peruse the rest of the museum without our parental units after we were through at the exhibit. Leah's mom gave me a sticker that said I was a chaperone and all of the museum staff COMPLETELY believed it. It was great.
Went to the Harvest Party at church on the Friday before Halloween. It was okay. It was better last year, and Elijah was being a huge pill. I was hippie, and so was Leah. But I looked more like a hippie than she did, but that was only because I was a pre-fab eighties hippie, and Leah was a feminist bra-burning hippie.
Nothing much has happened since then. I visited my cousin's youth group. It was cool. There were, like, thirty kids, As opposed to mine, which numbers exactly FOUR, in which I am the ONLY girl. *pout*
Someone is spreading a rumor about me that I'm not born again. I AM. And, really, who are they to question my salvation? They're not Jesus. And everyone can tell I'm saved. Anyhow, I'm not as mad at the person who started the rumor as I am at the people who BELIEVED it, even though I knew the people who believed the rumor before the rumor-starter knew them. So, yeah, I'm kinda pissed. : (
Oh, well. I'll get over it.
   C'est la vie.

   Love always,
