Tenth Entry

Friday

I know I said that I would write more about camp, and I actually did, but then PageBuilder ATE IT and I became disheartened and didn't want to write about it anymore, because it is seriously starting to bore me, talking about it and all. Really, the only thing I forgot to mention was that Sarah Sankovich (who signed my guestbook) won SuperCamper for the girls, and Ed won SuperCamper for the boys. Me and Bernadette and Jeff were also nominated, but weren't special enough, I guess. But I'm glad that Ed and Sarah won because they completely deserved it. It's always good when people win awards and they actually EARNED it. I hate it when people win stuff because they sucked up to people in high places, but are scathingly mean to the lesser people. Ed and Sarah are not like that AT ALL. So, CONGRATULATIONS to them!!! I'm glad they won. :D
Since I last wrote, I have highlighted my hair with deep red streaks. I like it. I think I would rather have a more bright color like
blue (like Chris G.) or purple or orange, but my mom totally vetoed that. I figured I should just be content with what I could get.
Anyhow, I am kind of sad today because everyone seems to be leaving or at college, while I am still stuck at home. Bernadette is in Michigan, and Michelle and Nathan are on their way to Florida (Pensacola Christian College -- I am HIGHLY OPPOSED to having to go there myself, but if they want to go, I have nothing against them going. I don't mean to rant about PCC, but, ew, it sort of gives me shivers to think about. I've seen TV broadcasts of their worship services, and...the Joy Quartet...the no-contemporary-music rule.... I don't know. It's just not for me.).
School has started for me. My friend Rebecca Sam. doesn't have to start until September 14. If only I could be so lucky.
