| Hmm, wonder why I was drawn to this book? Of course, you realize I am musically inclined, and, perhaps, my URL??? I wonder But, sarcasm aside, this book is pretty good. It tells the story of a girl named Molly Montgomery who begins a band in England -- The Hormones. She writes most of the songs, which are witty, unassuming tunes (much like real-life Relient K songs), but, after they become famous, everything seems to go down the tubes. There is inner turmoil within the band, and everything seems to fall apart. This book tells about the less glitzier side of fame, and is sort of a sad, reflective book, but aren't those the best kind? |
