The Electrical Stylings of One "Dunder_Fox"
Last updated: Wednesday, November 26th, 2003.
(Happy Thanksgiving!)
-This section contains, in case you haven't already guessed it, my electrical works. These tend to have more... "flare" than the acoustical songs, mostly due to the fact that one is more capable with an electric guitar. All of these files are not mere 30 second riffs, but rather works that are a combination of a few 30 second riffs. *chuclkles* No, but really, I prefer them over the acoustical ones any day. You?
Haunted
-This was my first song that really sounded... reasonable. It's also one of my first to use a capo, and the first to really have an effective riff as well as chords. But not everythign is perfect. It's one of my older ones, now, so I'm not quite as happy with it as I once was. Ahh, well. *shrugs* It's there. Have a listen. ^^
A Little Solo-Thing
-It was my first real attempt at a solo, and it shows. Nothing but repetition and perhaps even annoyance, but hey.. We've all gott start somewhere. I'm still trying to fit it into a song somewhere....
TBL Chat Song
-A little diddy I made ofr those that may attend TBL Chat every Saturday. ^^ It starts off slow, as the Chats usually do, and then quickens, as the Chats usually do. There's not much else than what's here, but it'll be completed someday.
Quick Lick
-It's nothing more than some hammer-ons and pull-offs arranged in a manner that makes it stream on for hours, if you wanted it to. Thankfully I can end it within a minute. There is more music for it, but I've never recorded it all. This is just a teaser, I suppose.
Anger Management
-This song was made for just what it's title implies. I was having a bad evening, and decided to let the frustration out through the guitar... uh, without breaking it. This simple little tune is the result. Maybe the next time I'm ticked off I can write the solo for it.
Make It To the Top
-A song that started off well enough, and never got much farther tha nI took it the first day. It's got lyrics, and a nice chord progression, but they're not there. Besides, what you don't hear won't hurt you, right?
Just Ditzin'
-Ahh, yes. My first recording of me just... uh... doing whatever. It's recorded on-the-spot, and thus there are a couple quick instances of mis-hap. ahh, well. Sometimes I think my extemporaneous performances are better than the ones I practice....
Beachy
-A little tune that reminded me of those old beach songs one used to hear. The solo here is another spur-of-the-moment thing, but lucky for me I managed to do something that pleased me the first time through. It's a nice, short, basic tune with... potential, I hope.
Fallout
-After making a song for the TBL Chat, I decided to even the odds with this little tune for the TIB Fallout Shelter. A catchy beat, once the chord progression gets going. Other than that... well, it's another un-finished tune. But there is a solo in progress.
Call of the Wolf (sample)
-The second half of a trade I'm doing with another musical online friend. I'm giving her this one and another one (already completed, but not on this site) in exchange for one very masterful work of her own. Since I tend to make easy tunes, I figured two for one would be fair in this case. Anyhoo, this is just a sample to hold you all over, so-to-speak. I dunno if I'll ever put the other one I did for her up or not.
Angel
-Another song for another friend, though this one is in excange for some art. Since my artistic skills are zip, I just give people music instead. Basically, this song is supposed to be about the character Angel from LatT 2. No words yet, but it's my best work to date. And the biggest. Be prepared for the longest load time on the whole site if you download this one. Got a nice beat, though. And drums, even.
Songer
-This is a little something I worked out while using a different tuning: Dgcfad. It's a nice tuning if oyu like lower sounding songs, and this sound file proves just what you can do with simple double-note progressions. I have yet to add to it, though.
Messin' Around.
-More misc. playing, here. A different setting, and a slightly different mood. It's got it's good points, and it's not-so-good ones. Make it through the latter, and it's alright. ;)
Hammer-On Pull-Off Thing.
-Just what the title says it is. I was just messin' with some hammer-on pull-off stuff, and got this. simple, and... it works. fast or slow, though I prefer it faster. Oh, and be careful with the vomlue. The setting used here gets some feedback that can kill if listened to loudly.
Hammer-On Pull-Off Thing.
-The same thing as the above song, only using a different setting so it's "cleaner", so-to-speak. But I prefer the original.
