The second week of Co-op is over, and the third is about to begin. All I have to say is: Holy crap! There is so much going on. Let me tell you what happened:
Monday:
In school day. *blah* I just sat on the computer all day.
Tuesday:
Second day of the week, but the first day of the second week of co-op. (I think that makes sense) The morning consisted of some usual circle stuff. We then decided on a topic to base our play on. We decided on Relationships, which is going to be fun to work with. I spent my lunch with my guitar, trying to get my song off of the ground. Of course, that didn't go too well. It was then brought to the attention, of myself, Stephanie and Nico that we could work on it together, and maybe perform it in the play in a couple of weeks. I liked the sounds of that. (I still do.)
In the afternoon, Claudia Moore came in again, and we did some more movement stuff, which was a lot of fun. I love it when Claudia comes in. It makes the day more interesting. She left at 3:00, then everyone else left at 3:30.
Wednesday:
Wednesday morning was spent thinking about and discussing the play we're doing for a festival in about two weeks. At lunch, I was with my guitar, playing along with various Hanson songs :D
In the afternoon... ack! I can't remember what we did... but I think we did some improv stuff, then ended with some writing, during which I wrote, Falling, which is now up on my poetry page... And we left at 4pm...
Thursday:
Thursday morning we did more circle stuff... and we worked really hard on the upcoming play. That's all the morning consisted of...
In the afternoon, we worked on an opening for our play. After that, we figured out what improv scenes we wanted in the play, then did some more writing, during which, I wrote Love Is Dangerous, which is also up on my Poetry page. Then, three of us, Breckon, Abass, and I were hanging around, talking with Naomi, and then Naomi asked if any of us wanted to see a play with her, 'cause her friend backed out. So, I accepted, and we went to see a play: Michel Tremblay's Past Perfect. It was really good! I got home at 11pm, and went right to bed.
Friday:
Friday morning, we worked hard on the opening for our play. All we did that morning...
At the end of lunch, Nico and I got together to work on the song for the play. Stephanie joined in later on too, during our afternoon break. Claudia Moore came in again, and we did some more fun movement stuff, after which my knee was very sore. Nico, Stephanie and I worked some more, and Nico worked up a rap to use for the opening of the play. We did the opening of the play over and over and over again, then left at 4pm.
And that was this week. Next weekend, I'm going to Nico's studio to record a song with him and Stephanie. I can't wait! It will be my first time recording in a studio. Can't wait! And as my adventures in Co-op continue, I will tell you more.
But, Until then,
Lots of Hanson Love,
Taike Care,
Jen =^-.-^=
