Today marks my first full day of my 4-credit Co-op. In two weeks, I will have a placement in the dramatic arts, and I can't wait to know what that holds in store. I still don't know exactly where I am going to be placed, and I hope I find out soon. I can't wait!
I honestly cannot think of a better spot for me to go into. A lot of my friends tell me I should go into writing as a possible career, but as much as I enjoy writing, the only kind I'm really good at, or actually keep at is my Hanfiction, and I can't exactly go into a career writing Hanson fanfiction now can I? I know acting isn't the most stable of careers, but I would rather do what I love, despite the hardships that come with it, than sit in an office doing a mundane 9-5 job and hating it with a passion. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this. As much as I enjoy my writing, Hanfiction won't really get me anywhere... except maybe some recognition in the Hanson community of fans.
Now, my pastor's sister did suggest that I try journalism, but I'm going to wait until University to do that. I'm thinking of doing a double major in Drama and Journalism and see which one I like better. Of course, I might take a creative writing course while I'm at it, but that will be decided when it gets closer to the time to choose courses for Univeristy.
Anyway, I think I have rambled on about my acedemic career enough. As I go further with my Co-op placement, I will be sure to let you know what happens.
Until then,
Lots of Hanson Love,
Taike Care,
Jen =^-.-^=
