Every game has to have rules and Guilty Souls won't
be any different. Still, despite the stupid comments
in the description space, I tend not to be a complete
ogre over such things and, if the need arises, I will
be willing to discuss the fairness of certain rules.
Still, please keep in mind that I, as the moderator,
have the final word in what floats and what sinks,
regardless.
As for my disciplinary system, it's really quite simple.
The only things that'll get you thrown out without
warning is:
--if you disrespect another player. This is a _big_
no-no. Despite the rather violent theme of the game,
I'd really like it if we muns could all get along.
After all, it _is_ just a game and, even if your
character is a big jerk, it doesn't mean that you
have to be, as well. Let's all get along and have
fun, right?
-- if you God-Mode. Yes. You _are_ able to play God
in this game, but it isn't an excuse. In His human
form, God is _not_ all-powerful. Yes, he can still
do things beyond the relm of man, but this doesn't
include instant-killing any character that's getting
on your nerves. (For more on this? Check the FAQ.)
Of course, this goes for the rest of the characters,
as well. You _cannot_ move another person's character.
You _cannot_ seriously harm another person's character
without giving them a chance to move. You _cannot_
make another person's character do a saucy little jig
just to amuse yourself. Also? Even if your character
_is_ God, He is still _not_ completely immune to getting
hurt. All characters get banged up every once and a while.
It keeps them human and believable. Plus, it's fun for the
muns, right?
Really, those're the only two things'll that annoy me enough
to kick someone out without a second chance and, even then,
I'll likely give you a chance to explain yourself. After all,
we all make mistakes. Still, here, on a lesser note, are some
of the other rules:
-- I've decided to change things just a little in that I will
now immediately approve membership to the group; however I
still want the applications sent to my EMAIL and NOT directly
to the group. If you post a Profile up to the group before I
have approved it, then I'll delete the post without even
reading it. Yes, I realise that it sounds a little harsh,
but I'm fairly sure that it'll save us all a headache in the
end.
-- At this point, I have no limit on the number of characters
which one mun can play; however, with this in mind, I do ask
that, if you have five characters, then you keep all five
moving actively around the board.
-- I understand that, at times, people get very busy, but, if
you find yourself in this situation, then please drop me an
email or notify me in some other manner that you won't be able
to post for whatever reason. I don't mind if you have to take
a break, but it _is_ easier for the rest of us if we know
beforehand. Also, if you want, I'll take care of your character
while you're out or, if you'd rather, you can have some other
player take over him or her. Or you can place him or her as a
NPC. Whatever would work best for you.
-- At this moment, I am keeping this game unrated, though, if
it becomes clear that this isn't working out or if a number
of muns complain over it, then I will change this. Of course,
just because it has no rating doesn't mean that you can go and
abuse this by having every other word in your postings be foul
nor does it mean that every single post can be of two people
having physical romance. I don't object to sex nor violence nor
language considering the topic of the game, but I do see a need
for it in moderation. (And, yes, I _will_ try to moderate my
own usage of these things, thank you.)
-- Message headers are your friends and, as such, please make usage
of them. If you want your post aimed toward someone specific
then use an "Attn" tag so that they know. If you find that your
post has been overrun by slut or language-bunnies then put a
warning like (Graphic Language) or (Graphic Sex) or even (Mansex)
in your header so those who don't want to see it won't be forced
to read anything that'd traumatise them. This could really make
life easier, you know?
-- This is an _original_ anime-based role-playing group which means
that I won't accept any already established characters into the
group. No Usagi. No Vegeta. No Tenchi. Not even any Sei-chan or
Rociel, as much as that pains me. Yes, I realise that I used a
picture of Setsuna for the main group page, but that does not mean
that I want a Sestuna running around the board. Be creative and
try to make an original character, okay?
-- Last but most definately not least, have fun! This is a _game_!
A game! Games're supposed to be fun! So, have fun or die! Or
both! I'm not picky!
