Name: Kisoku Capulet
Name Meaning: Kisoku means "breath" making it synonymous with the
name Abel, the murdered son of Adam and twin brother of Cain. Capulet
is the surname of Juliet, the fated lover of Romeo. His family took
the name after starting the highly successful Verona Motor Company
with the Montagues.
Age: Twenty
Date of Birth: June 19
Astrological Sign: Gemini/Cancer cusp.
Bloodtype: AB
Alignment: Neutral. His heart is truly good, but the unfortunate
circumstances surrounding his life often make him inclined to travel
to the dark side.
Strengths: Kisoku is a highly attractive, magnetic person. He knows
how to deal with people, making him a suave businessman. He is highly
intelligent and street-wise, which gets him through the dirty deals
of the business world. He also plays a mean guitar, plays the drums
reasonably well, and can back-up sing like there's no tomorrow. He
has stage appeal and great stage presence. His model good looks also
play into his favor in both the business and entertainment world.
While most people wouldn't consider him the most popular member of
Wingless, he still has a fair sized fan-following. In addition, many
a good business deal has been settled by the young entrepreneur's
looks and some well-placed flattery. He is a sensitive and highly
empathic person, knowing just the right things to say and do to make
a person feel better in even the worst of times. His cooking is above
average. No one can beat him when it comes to shopping for clothes.
He can arrange outfits for any style of clothing.
Weaknesses: Kisoku is highly sensitive, especially since he is often
overcome by supreme feelings of inadequacy. His need to be "good
enough" can drive him mad. Failure to be as near perfect as humanly
possible is worse than death to him. He also has a good deal of
notoriety in New Eden, being one of the single wealthiest bachelors
in the city. He often has to change his appearance to keep from being
recognized, and he always has to be on his best behavior in public to
keep up the company reputation. The faint memory of his mother's
betrayal still haunts him to this day, and though the pain has
softened somewhat, the fact that he was the child left behind still
stings at his heart. Another episode in his young life involving the
Montagues has left him quite paranoid. His home has innumerous locks
and security precautions on it. He always keeps pepper spray and mace
at hand. He is quite likely to do a background check on anyone he
dates.
Likes: Kisoku likes shopping for clothes and make-up. Kisoku likes
dating around because he's already settled down so many times in his
young life. Kisoku loves music. He loves to listen to all sorts of
music, and he absolutely loves to play music. It didn't take much
convincing at all to get him to join Wingless. He likes having fans
that adore him because it makes him feel without fault in the eyes of
a select few. He loves cigarettes and alcohol because they do wonders
at calming his nerves.
Dislikes: Kisoku hates the earlier portion of his life, and though it
heavily influences him, he tries to repress as much as he can of his
all-too-dark youth. He dislikes breaking people's hearts, preferring
to end up broken hearted. If he were to break hearts, then he would
be the one at fault, and above all, Kisoku hates being the person the
mistake in any situation.
Greatest Fear: His greatest fear is outright rejection by all the
people who say that they adore him. Because of the fact that his
mother abandoned him and did nothing when he was abused by the
Montague's, he can never truly trust anyone who is close to him.
Motivation: He wants to stop feeling inferior just because so many
people have rejected him. He wants to be above the loneliness that
plagues his life. He wants to either feel truly loved or feel nothing
for any human being.
Favorite Food: Pizza. There's a parlor on practically every street.
It's yummy and accessible and good on the go. Pizza can keep up with
his fast paced schedule.
Least Favorite Food: Kisoku hates spicy foods. He is very stubborn
about his eating habits, and he doesn't want anything that could A)
make him more prone to ulcers (hey, he's in business) and B) can set
him back in his efficiency.
What grade are they in: He's a sophomore in college.
Marks: He takes most of his classes off of a pass/fail system,
showing only as much work as necessary. For those classes that don't
use this system, he simply works hard enough to get something
resembling a B, and if that doesn't work, he has other methods of
persuasion.
Favorite Class: Human Sexually He was just thrilled to know that
this was a class he could take. He has always had an affinity for the
role that sexuality plays in the human psyche. His first hand
experience(s) gives him a definite edge in the class.
Least Favorite Class: Business He thinks all of those mathematical
details are complete rubbish, considering his family's business isn't
made in numbers but rather in blackmail.
Personality: Kisoku is a normally bright and bubbly person. He feels
that it doesn't do anyone any good to mope around all day. This
doesn't mean that he never feels an ounce of negativity. In fact, he
rarely ever represses his depressing emotions. However, he ignores
these emotions and pushes through them so that he can at least act
happy around others. He is incredibly flirtatious, flaunting himself
for all to see. He is a romantic at heart and gets no greater thrill
than when he is seeking out Mr. Right. He is highly defensive and
remains as cautious as possible with people until he gets to know
them or does a background check on them. If he finds any troublesome
spot on them, he will not hesitate to politely send said person
packing.
Appearance: Kisoku looks quite out of the ordinary for most men in
his line of work. He is tall and thin, weighing in at 142 lbs. for
his 5 feet 11 inches of height, with some lean muscle on his arms,
stomach, and thighs. He has incredibly pale skin since he doesn't go
out much during the day. His hair is bleached to a platinum blond
color, but his natural hair color is a medium brown. His hair is
fairly long for a guy. It comes down to the top of his neck and falls
in thin wisps in his face. He usually doesn't do anything to it, but
for special occasions, he'll slick it back for an even more
androgynous look. As a matter of fact, androgyny is the word to
describe his style. His casual/club clothing, hair and make-up are
very much like the 70s glam rock style. He wears vinyls, fish-
netting, glitter, feathers, and various other things that make him
stand out. Sometimes, his style can show an obvious gothic-influence,
but that is a rarity. No matter what, he will almost always have on
at least basic eye-liner. Most of the time, he also wears lip gloss,
eye shadow, blush, and glitter. He won't step foot in a club without
heavy glitter and eye-shadow. He tends to be a bit more reserved
during the day, sticking to muted colors for his make-up. Much to his
dismay, he does have to dress somewhat normal for his work. He will
usually stick to something fashionable and understated, but he always
wears his eyeliner. He has a series of raised white lines on his
upper arms. These are from a time in his teens when he attempted
suicide.
Social Status: Having money, charm, and good looks makes Kisoku a
very popular boy. He is well-respected in the business world, much
loved in the nightclub scene, and a favorite amongst friends.
Love Life: Kisoku has slept with and fallen in love with many men. He
is completely 100% homosexual, but he has been known to flirt with
women as a sport. He keeps his sexuality as downplayed as possible
because of public image. He is the type of fellow to look for one-
night stands and wind up committing to horrible would be long-term
relationships. He wants true love more than anything else. However,
at the moment, he is in no rush to settle down with one person. He
has been in one two-year relationship and has been almost ready to do
that again when his heart was broken. After his relationship with
Romeo, he returned back to his promiscuous lifestyle. If he does
settle down with one person, he will make it clear that he will be
fooling around with other men on the side.
Family, Friends:
Adam Capulet Adam is a 40-year-old businessman.
His tactics have often been called cruel and cunning, but he is
actually a very loving man when it comes to his friends and family.
He loves his son dearly, and he feels overwhelming guilt when he
thinks of how much he has failed to protect his son from. He is now
focused on making his son as much of a thick-skinned businessman as
he is. Though he has money, fame, and power, the most valuable things
in his life hands down are his son, Kisoku, and darling wife, Caressa.
Caressa Mercedes-Capulet (Loving Touch of Mercies) Caressa Mercedes
was a beautiful, young, sweet, warm-hearted model who was in the
right place at the right time. At the age of 18, she attended a
lavish party thrown by the Capulets to launch their newest
automobile. It was there that she met the 30-year-old Adam Capulet,
and the two immediately hit it off. Their age difference made waves
in the public eye, but the two were so in love that they barely
noticed and didn't care at all. Caressa soon after met Adam's 10-year-
old son Kisoku, who was still recovering from his trying ordeal the
previous year. She thought he was the cutest little boy, and it broke
her heart to see him so damaged at such a young age. Adam and Caressa
continued to see each other for two years before the two were
married. All the while, Caressa devoted herself to being the kind of
woman that Kisoku could trust. Eventually, Kisoku warmed up to the
woman's affections, and he was delighted when she married his father.
Being so close to her stepson's age, she is both Kisoku's pal and the
only mother figure in his life. She encouraged him to do some
modeling in his high school years. Though he enjoyed it, his heart
was never really in it until it became useful to the company.
Kein Montague Kisoku's twin brother and former lover. Under the
alias "Romeo", he dated Kisoku for three months only to lash out on
his "Juliet" after discovering his true identity. The two have since
become heavy competitors in the business world, vying for both the
economic stats and time in the social spotlight.
Eve Montague Kisoku's mother. He doesn't know much about the woman,
except for the fact that she abandoned him and most likely sent the
kidnappers after him.
Yumeomiru Samezameto Sam was Kisoku's first boyfriend and longest
lasting relationship. The two started off as being good friends
during Kisoku's junior year. During that year, Kisoku came to accept
the fact that he was gay, and unable to cope with the overwhelming
feeling that he was a failure to his family, he tried to commit
suicide. Sam was the person who found in the boys' bathroom and saved
him. The incident brought the two much closer together, so close in
fact, that they started dating. When the end of Kisoku's senior year
rolled around, he decided that it would be best for the both of them
if they split up and expanded their dating horizons. The two remained
best friends (with benefits), and Kisoku all too happily agreed to
join Sam's band Wingless.
Nazoko Capulet Kisoku's devoted cousin and chief info finder for
Capulet Motors. She is an exceptional hacker who moved to New Eden to
find Kisoku during the kidnapping incident. She is one year younger
than Kisoku, but she had proved invaluable to the family for her
blackmailing skills. Her hacking jobs are virtually untraceable. She
has also been trained heavily in martial arts, and became an extra
bodyguard for her cousin when he goes out and about. She is a year
ahead of her grade, and has, therefore, attended every single class
with her cousin as an extra means of protection.
Birthplace: He was born in the best room of the best hospital in New
Eden. Soon after his birth, he was placed in his mother's arms along
with his twin brother. On some nights, he can almost remember that
strong connection to his blood relatives.
Current Residence: Kisoku lives in a classy upscale apartment
complex. His apartment is the nicest one in the building. It is two
floors and decorated lavishly with the best of the best. He has a
stereo system that runs through his entire house. His security is top
notch. His room dcor varies from a classical feel (complete with
tapestries, heavy and ornate window drapery and chandeliers) to
country comfort. His bedroom is spacious with a great view of the
city. He keeps his home very neat and clean, with only minimum help
from maid services (you just can't trust their sticky fingers,
y'know).
History:
A long time ago, two friends started a small motor company
in Japan. What has seemed at first as a money guzzling failure,
eventually turned into the beginnings of a multimillion dollar
enterprise. As Verona Motors grew, so did the egos of the two
founders. They took on the last names of famous literary Veronians.
The Montagues and Capulets were on top of the world, but all was not
well in paradise. To make their way to the top, the two founders had
used very underhanded methods, but each disagreed with the other's
stance. The Capulets were fond of blackmail. They believed that it
was better to destroy a man's reputation than destroy his chance to
correct the error of his ways. The Montagues, on the other hand,
thought it better to simply kill a man, rather than drag his life
through the mud. In the end, the two decided to split the company in
half due to these irrevocable differences.
And from this schism, Capulet Motors was born. The car company
continued at a steady pace, but the Capulets decided that they wanted
more. Unable to push the motor industry any further, they branched
out into the world of fashion and entertainment, making a healthy,
steadily growing conglomerate for themselves.
However powerful the two business superpowers were, both companies
realized the extent of their power and the need for their survival.
While the whole world seemed to be going crazy, a man named
Prometheus offered mankind a chance for a better world. Filled with
hope, Adam Capulet and Eve Montague, who had secretly fallen in love,
decided to elope to New Eden, under the guise of continuing their
family's business. By the time their families had discovered the true
nature of their flight, the couple was too far away to be touched. In
addition, the New Eden branches thrived so much that neither family
complained. Adam and Eve lived happily together for a few good years.
Even gave birth to twin sons, Kisoku and Kein, whose parents pampered
them endlessly. However, when the twins were almost three, Eve
started to have doubts. Though she had once been madly in love with
Adam, homesickness along with a feeling that she had betrayed her
family, made her have second thoughts about going to New Eden. One
night, Eve took her precious son, Kein, from the place where the two
brothers slept and disappeared without a trace. Adam was left alone
to raise Kisoku. He was completely devastated and heart-broken, so he
decided to throw all of his energy into building his business and
raising his son. At the time, Kisoku couldn't understand where his
mother and brother had gone to, but he was still saddened by the
absence. It was a few years later before Kisoku realized that he had
been abandoned their, and once he could grasp the full extent of that
abandonment, he became incredibly depressed. As a child, he was very
introverted and kept to himself most of the time. He didn't want to
make any new friends because he was afraid to lose anyone else. As
much as his loneliness hurt him at the time, things were only fated
to get worse for the young Capulet.
Kisoku was nine, and he had forgotten what his mother and brother had
looked like. Details that had once been planted in his heart had
begun to fade away with the sands of time. Though the pain was still
there, it hurt a lot less than it had before. At the same time, the
Montagues had sent Eve back to New Eden to claim the market.
Unfortunately, they had fallen significantly behind Capulet Motors in
the six-year period, so they chose to resort to more unorthodox
business practices. They sought out and made exclusive deals with the
best assassins in New Eden. In addition, Eve chose to play her cards
right and cause as direct harm as possible to Adam. One day, when
Kisoku was playing ball with a few other children in the school
playground, he kicked the ball too far and was forced to go into the
bushes to get it. Due to tree and bush coverage, his bodyguard
couldn't properly see him. Five minutes later, no one could find the
young Capulet heir.
Hours later, a frantic Adam found out through his sources that his
son had been kidnapped by the Montagues and was being held as
collateral that the Montagues would halve their productivity, under
the guise of periodic "downsizing". Adam kept up appearances, making
it look as if he was slowly downsizing to keep it secret from the
public eye, and the Montagues were satiated. However, he was really
buying time for his own men to find his son. Meanwhile, Kisoku spent
an agonizing three weeks in captivity. When the rescue team finally
found him, he was battered, bruised, and obviously deeply
psychologically scared. It was quite a few therapy sessions later
that his family discovered that he had been repeatedly abused and
molested by his kidnappers. The incident only added to the boy's
mistrust of people and feelings of inadequacy.
Adam clung to his child even more tightly, and they shared a year of
recovery in which the only people they could trust were each other.
That isuntil Adam met Caressa. Caressa Mercedes was a beautiful,
sweet, intelligent young model, and Adam loved her from the moment he
met her. Caressa helped both Adam and Kisoku recover from the
incident, and soon became the staple support of the Capulet family.
Kisoku quickly took the woman, and he truly thinks of her as his real
mother. Caressa gave Kisoku a renewed hope that he was worthy of
being loved. The young woman proved to him that real mothers don't
abandon a good boy and send people to cause him harm. The family
finally began to function as a normal family should.
Kisoku went to high school, happy and healthy thanks to a newly
adjusted family life. He opened up and became quite popular amongst
the students, especially the girls. He dated many girls, popular and
geeks alike, but in the summer before his junior year, he felt that
something was missing when he made friends with a boy named, Sam. He
watched Sam's openly sexual behavior, and begun to question his own
sexually. A month or so later, he came to terms with the fact that he
was gay, but even though he accepted it as the truth, he hated
himself for it. He couldn't properly keep his family lineage going.
He felt as though he was a disgrace to the family name. Most of all,
he once again felt as though he were the son who deserved to be left
behind. His self-hatred drove him to a suicide attempt, and if it
hadn't been for the fact that his friend, Sam had found him in time,
he would've died in the boys' bathroom of his school. After the
suicide attempt, his parents encouraged him to live as openly
homosexual as he pleased because they were incredibly concerned for
the boy's mental health. Still overcome with guilt, the best Kisoku
could muster up was a compromise of being "fashionably bisexual" for
the public. He grew even closer to his savior, Sam, and the two began
an intense relationship that lasted for almost two years. However,
when Kisoku graduated from high school, he decided that he couldn't
limit his experience to one relationship. From looking at his
father's life, he knew that love could come more than once, so he
broke things off with Sam and sought out new experiences. At first,
he did his best to distance himself from Sam, lest he be tempted to
go crawling back, but he soon found that it was equally wonderful
being Sam's best friend. He even joined Sam's band Wingless as lead
guitarist.
Kisoku went through a whole string of short-term relationships that
kept his heart broken for nearly two years. Though he was pretty
against it, his friend forced him to go to a singles masquerade party
where he met a man in a mask who he knew only as "Romeo". What he
thought would be a one-night stand turned into a three-month
relationship. They continued to see each other under their false
names, claiming that they both had important reasons to remain
anonymous. Romeo was everything that Kisoku had ever wanted. The man
was sweet, charming, caring, stable, and loved playing the knight in
shining armor. Just when Kisoku thought he had found something better
than Sam that he could commit too, tragedy struck. His father fell
ill just before a car convention when the hot new Capulet line was to
be unveiled. All too willing to take up his father's burden, he
attended the convention, where much too his dismay, the Montagues
were also showing off their stock. He found a familiar face among the
Montagues. His step-mother pointed his Romeo out as none other than
the Montague heir, Kein Montague, his twin brother. He felt utterly
heart-broken and betrayed, letting out a string of angry words at his
brother before storming off.
Writing Sample:
"As you can see, there's been a significant increase
in the sale of bathroom fixures..."
Kisoku let out a long, drawn-out yawn, and were he anyone but the son
of the CEO of the Capulet Company, he'd probably get a roomful of
dirty looks from the other executives attending the meeting. Luckily
for him, he outranked all of them, and he didn't have to take slack
from anyone except his father.
"Bathroom fixures are fine and dandy, Wilson... but what makes any of
this information pertinent and worth my time? I need to know what you
plan to do about our obviously faulty advertising campaign. Don't
start spouting bullshit figures, trying to weasel your way out of
doing your job efficiently." The young Capulet growled, resting his
cheek in his hand. "What is the flaw in our plans?"
"W-we-well, sir... I-I..."
"You still haven't figured it out yet have you?"
"N-n-n... no sir..."
"Well, in that case, I think we're all wasting our time here, aren't
we?" With that said, Kisoku rose to his feet, leaving the conference
room. One more waste of time, and he'd have to start handing out pink
slips. Some of these idiots were absolutely intolerable. He rounded
the corner of some cubicles, making his way into his office. He
flopped down in his executive chair, staring out at the city. He
barely showed up to work at all, and he knew more than half of the
people slaving away for the company.
"So much for faith in the older generation..." He chuckled, kicking his
legs up on the desk and writing up an outline detailing the major
flaws of Capulet advertising. If his research proved reliable, poor
Wilson would soon be looking for a new job. It was cruel, yes, but
New Eden was a cruel place, full of heartless people. No one knew
this better than Kisoku Capulet.
