| From August 17 through August 30, 2003, I underwent an epiphany of sorts. Such a phenomenon was not new to me. I had experienced it in my senior year in high school (at St. Mary's Catholic High School) when I realized that Theism was founded by liars out of fear and has resulted in universal evil. I followed this with another such epiphany when it dawned on me that Statism (all forms of government) was founded by even more grandiose liars out of the same fears and has resulted in infinite evil. | ||||||||||||||
| So, what's this recent epiphany? Well, it's only an epiphany by degree over 14 days during the recent gas shortage here in Phoenix. It grew during long waits in gas lines; it exposed the deceit, hypocrisy, and Janus-faced nature of the STATE and its Ministry of Propaganda the MEDIA. It was joined by the transmission line failure that resulted with the blackout in New York and other states and portions of the Canadian province of Ontario. | ||||||||||||||
| As always the Media was all over both incidents, thus offering a brief reprieve from sodomy in Texas, gay marriage, and the biggest and dumbest asshole from Texas - George W. Bush. After all, a new story is to the Media what a new PLAYBOY is to a teenage boy - instant orgasm. | ||||||||||||||
| Well, for 14 days I joined most other people in the Valley and read THE ARIZONA REPUBLIC, THE NEW YORK TIMES, WASHINGTON POST, WALL STREET JOURNAL, etc., looking for cause and effect. During the same time I watched The News Hour With Jim Lehrer, Horizon, The O'Reilly Factor,Chris Matthews, numerous CNN shows, and all the local channels, seeking further insight into cause and effect. | ||||||||||||||
| All of these information wastelands offered opinion from public issue experts, elected officials, politicians, many academics, and assorted news pundits. Most were low rent intellectuals; however a few were from academic-statist think tanks such as Brookings, Heritage, and CATO. The only real difference between them and the low rent variety was their lack of political vitriol. They all, to one degree or another, thought that solutions were to be found through government action and policy. Many, to a large degree, blamed the free-markets that invented such industry; therefore no surprises here! | ||||||||||||||
| Now to that surreal picture painted by those "experts" and their twisted views. They all began with the picture of America?s failing and aged infrastructure in general. They all portrayed them as antediluvian. They all claimed that billions of dollars would be needed to modernize and repair our gas lines, electricity delivery systems, dams, bridges, roads - to say nothing of our healthcare and its delivery systems. They all unanimously agreed that the money is simply not there! | ||||||||||||||
| Get ready for a Salvador Dali hallucinatory stroke to this picture: Somehow from this bankrupt position, U.S. Occupation Coordinator L. Paul Bremer recently informed Congress that "Iraq will need several tens of billions of dollars to rebuild its rickety infrastructure." (Emphasis mine) Even more surreal, Bush promises to find the money! Remember, Iraq had one of the finest infrastructures in the Middle East before we blew the hell out of it! It would take a hell of an art appreciation class to explain and interpret this bizarre painting. | ||||||||||||||
| Here?s part of that explanation: This contemporary portrait of anti-reason finds its origins in the evolution of Homo sapiens consciousness of existence and mortality. From such intense fear, human beings evolved the initial collectivisms of mysticism and tribalism. This evolution of fear and ignorance continued right down to today's Theism in Rome and Statism in Washington, DC. | ||||||||||||||
| Today this class nepotism is led by the defective intellects of Bush, Rumsfeld, Rice, Ashcroft, ad nauseum. They are supported by their lackeys throughout mainstream media. Today individual human beings have virtually no choice but to support this putrid picture. They are brainwashed into believing that the vote offers choice. | ||||||||||||||
| The only choice with the vote is a choice between Marxian styled Robin Hoods who wish to steal your property to build an egalitarian utopia and Nazi empire builders who wish to rule the world. | ||||||||||||||
