| OBLEO IN THE LAND OF THE CONEHEADS IS STILL OBLEO | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| OPEN LETTER TO THE SELF-PROCLAIMED PROFESSIONALS OF MAINSTREAM MEDIA: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is a letter, and by most accounts something short of an essay. I shall try to keep it so. For over 20 years I have (for reasons too long for a letter) sent my essays and treatises to mainstream media. As is their right, with rare exception, I've received no acknowledgement of receipt, let alone comment. If such rejection were the issue here, I would never write this letter, but it's not! The issue is mainstream media's claim to journalistic integrity. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| TRUTH, in infallible form, is the issue. Not the "truth" of my views versus theirs, nor the "truth" of that inane in-house debate discussed in Bernard Goldberg's book, BIAS. All such debates and discussion are simply FREE SPEECH in action. No, the TRUTH I write of is fact. Fact about which they flagrantly LIE over and over again; day after day, night after night on screen and in print. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| O.K., by now, if these MEDIA people of "integrity" even read this letter, they are rightfully demanding that I prove they LIE. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Which is actually the easiest part of writing this letter. I only indict them; it's their own language laceration that absolutely condemns them as LIARS! This irrefutable lying has always been there, but it?s been epidemic since 9-11. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I draw evidence from many sources, but mostly from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, PBS (Especially The Jim Lehrer News Hour), Washington Post, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and The Arizona Republic. The following quotes are examples that, in essence, are written or spoken by all of them: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "All of us feel more vulnerable now." | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "All of us have been challenged." | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "We all pray more now." | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "The WHOLE NATION has changed." | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "We worry more now." | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "All of us display more patriotism now." | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "ALL AMERICANS want to hug New York." | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| [Even C-SPAN pipes in] "EVERYONE wants him [George W. Bush] to do well." | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I could go on ad nauseum, but as I said, this is not an essay, but a letter about professional liars. And don't you semanticide bastards try and tell me, "It's just a matter of speaking." All inclusive words, like ALL, EVERYONE, THE WHOLE NATION mean exactly what they convey! The decision was Noah Webster's, not media demagogues! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| But, just in case you're so collectively brainwashed, and cannot see such obvious lies, or because your Pavlovian mendacity leads you to actually believe such a mathematical impossibility-then as Bacon said, "The force of the negative is always greater." Therefore, my lone dissent infallibly proves you LIARS! If you wish to be truthful, and believe me to be a single aberrant "nutcase," then you are ethically and logically bound to at least say "Such and such is ALL inclusive, except for one 'screwball' OBLEO in our collective land of CONEHEADS!" | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| But I'm not alone! I could provide a long list of individualhumanbeings, who also dissent, and each of those individual human beings could provide such a list. The immutable fact is, there are tens of thousands of such individual OBLEOS in your Brave New World of assembly line CONEHEADS! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The irrefutable fact is - There are tens of thousands of OBLEOS, who do not believe in your CONEHEAD government or your CONEHEAD god! Who do not crowd into your CONEHEAD churches! Who do not salute your CONEHEAD flag! Who do not want CONEHEAD George W. Bush to do well. AND, who absolutely do not want to hug New York! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| LIES - LIES - LIES | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Now, let me beat you to your sinister work before you even start: When MEDIA LIARS are caught red-handed, they quickly attack the individuals who have exposed their dishonesty by name-calling. And I've been called all of them. They refer to each of us as "ignorant rabble." "Lunatic fringe." "Crazed druggies." "Misguided fools." "Obnoxious jerks," etc. From a man of integrity to a pack of liars, I can, with clear conscious, swear that not one such individual human being on my list of dissenters fits your cowardly slurs! Your slurs are the reaction of intellectual cowards caught in an undeniable LIE! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Each of the people on my list, including me and my family, are non-violent people, educated people, hard working people, family people! BUT each individual among us simply does not believe in your non-existent collectives: of Church and State, Borders and Flags, Bibles and Prayers. We do not bow to your government; we do not genuflect to your god. Not one individual among us wants to "crowd a church," "hug New York," or "fly your flag!" | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| We are moral individual human beings enslaved by your non-existent Leviathans at the end of your guns! We are good people who see the sadness and the tragedy of the of the 2,700 dead individual human beings in New York, BUT no more so than in the murder of any individual human being, especially the innocent ones now being slaughtered by your leading CONEHEAD - George W. Bush! I reiterate you are LIARS. A fact you can continue to lie about but cannot escape! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Now, to some related thoughts. During the week of my writing this letter, it was "pledge week" on Public Television and Arizona's representative Channel 8 was taking selective breaks during certain programming to ask for donations. This, I believe is a very worthy endeavor, and I would freely give IF some of the programming did not LIE as previously proven. Variations of those LIES appeared on Horizon, Charlie Rose, etc., but frequently and flagrantly on The Jim Lehrer News Hour. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I watch those programs regularly. They keep me abreast of the CONEHEAD actions, beliefs, and ideas that I find from ignorant to evil. For that alone I would like to donate, but I can not do it! That irrefutable and ALL inclusive LIE that they repetitively tell to enforce their idea of national hegemony and unanimity of belief among ALL Americans ethically demands that I do NOT give one single cent! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| If such people had one ounce of professional integrity, they would at the very least use mathematical percentages! Even if their visceral hatred were so great for dissidents like me and thousands of others, they would, again, at the very least, preface their statements with 99.9% of believe "such and such" or support "so and so." But as said in the great epic Beowulf, "Such is not the coward's enterprise!" - or the LIARS! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Finally, don't try to con me with the crap that you present polls, or that you "balance" issues with such nonsense as liberal vs. conservative, or Democrat vs. Republican. You damn well know this is in-house squabbling among those who, not withstanding petty disagreements, obediently believe in government and borders, god and church, patriotism and prayer, constitutions and bibles. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| That one tenth of one percent of us - who know all those paradigms to be the very definition of terror and evil, who know them to BE historically responsible for a murderous river of blood of millions of Individual Human Beings, the PRIME existent in the universe - are to be, at all costs, DENIED any entry into the Marketplace of Ideas! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| So, the CONEHEADS running those paradigms sometimes imprison or kill such OBLEOS, but they ALWAYS LIE about us! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
