The blue car in the background belongs to our landlord Moises, his car was not able to mnage the amount of water. El carro azul al fondo es ed Moises, nuestro dueño de casa. Su carro no aguantó la cantidad de agua.
Rain is almost over, but the water is still storming though my street. The white house is my house.   La lluvia ya acabó, pero el agua todavia está corriendo duro por las calles. La casa blanca es mi casa.

"Regen in Huaraz"
Zoals jullie allemaal wel weten, ligt Huaraz in het tropische stukje van de aarde. En ook al wordt het hier 's nachts soms hartstikke koud (zeker nog hoger in de bergen), er zijn zeker wel tropische herkenningspunten in het Huaracino weerbeeld. Zoals de immense regenbuien bijvoorbeeld, gedurende het regenseizoen, dat tot april duurt. Op deze pagina een paar foto's van een regenbui zoals die elke week wel een paar keer valt in dit seizoen.

As you all probably know, Huaraz is located in the tropical part of the world. And apart from the fact that it can get freaking cold here at night, there are definitely some tropical things to be recognized in Huaraz weather. Like the immense rainstorms, for example. At this page you can see some photos of those rainstorms that fall frequently during the rainy season, which stretches from September until April.
Como todos devem saber, a cidade de Huaraz est� na parte tropical do mundo. E aparte do facto de que � noite pode ficar bem frio c�, o tempo de Huaraz se mostra muito tropical �s vezes. Durante a �poca de chuva, por exemplo, que dura mais ou menos de Septembre at� Abril, cada semana chova t�o forte como nas fotos desta p�gina.
Como todos deben saber, Huaraz est� ubicado en la parte tropical del mundo. Mismo as�, �en las noches puede estar bastante fr�o! Pero claro que el tiempo de Huaraz se muestra bien tropical tambi�n. Por ejemplo con la �poca de lluvias, en la cual la lluvia es abundante, las calles se llenen de agua que rapidamente baja, dejando a las calles llenas de huecos (afirmadas) o piedras (asfaltadas). En esta pagina unas fotos de una lluvia de estas.

And imagine that the water had already gone down! I have worse photos of this place...  Tengo fotos deste cruzamiento cuando estaba pero todavia, ¡mucho peor!
