How a believer can resist Satan.

The New Testament command is "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." james 4:7

Do not resist in your own strength. he has hundredsof years experience on you. and God will test our areas of self confidence.
Remember Satan has limitations 1 John 4:4

Maintain a real and meaningful prayer life. Matthew 6:13; Romans 12:12; 1 thess. 5:17

Study the WOrd of God specifically for edification.

Discipline your mind through study of the Word and by yielding to the Holy Spirit, by an act of our own will, doing what God would desire.
The undisciplined mind is wide open for Satan. Eph. 2:2

Resist Satan by using your Faith.

Through the authority of the name of jesus, as He is Lord and Savior, we are stronger thatn Satan. Matthew 28:18-10

Resist by quoting scripture Jesus did.

Resist by remembering that Jesus resited him.
	Jesus' life was a dress rehearsal for every Christian.
	As he was led, filled, nd empowered by God's Holy Spirit, so are we.
	What Jesus did in death and resurrection is our key to freedom from Satans's power and slavery.
