He will again have compassion of us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea (Mic. 7:19)
Sin can haunt you for years. Out of the blue you can have flashback of something you did long ago and flinch. You may wonder if God does the same thing. Does he keep a video of your sins- th eoldies and the mew releases? At his leisure, he pops in your tape and reviews it? Look at Micah 7:9 It says that God subdues, or conquers, our sins and casts them inot the sea. He can't replay your stuff because he doesn't have it anymore. He's done what only he can do-erased your sin forever. It's totally amazing. It's totally grace. To God, forgiven means forgotten. Someone once said that God throws  our sin into the sea and puts up a "no fishing" sign. No one is allowed to go fish them out. In your attempt to be more like God, stop playing back your sin tapes. Don't bring them up to yourself or to Him. Accept his forgivness and don't look back.
