The Weapon of Choice.

Notice from the pictures shown below that the ‘vine’ which is present in Rosslyn is first issued from a monsters mouth. It also comes from the green mans mouth. It also comes from the mouths of the male and female representations of the deity. In the later cases it is from this the horns are formed. The horns being the primary weapon of a goat, ram or any other animal which possesses them.

The obvious conclusion being that the primary weapon is oral ie stems from the mouth. The use and abuse of the written and spoken word.

One of the dominant themes throughout Rosslyn is that of a form of dualism, with one figure holding up a scroll and another holding and pointing to an open book. The suggestion being a conflict of biblical interpretation.

Such an idea is healthy under normal circumstances. It provides an exchange of ideas and mutual learning. It is the basis for democracy itself. However what if one of the parties knowingly and methodically presents false information?

Such techniques are an underlying principle in Freemasonry. The initiations are dependent upon it. Its symbolism is dependent upon it. The publications are full of it. And, on an individual level, it is strongly implied in the  first degree punishment and of being ostracised. The offender will be set up and will suddenly and quickly be branded a man of no moral worth. He will under go a transformation from fine brother to vile wretch.

The desired effect of such a mechanism, upon groups or individuals, is neatly summed up in the above pictures showing a man brought to his knees, with a ‘collar’ around his neck that has issued from the goats mouth. The fact that the issue stems from the goats mouth suggests it is oral. Further more it must first pass through something in order to reach the man. Could the hoop shown above be representative of an ear? The goat is a common Satanic symbol.

The picture below shows a head engulfed in the ‘vine’. Probably alluding to an involuntary absorption of some kind. This figure reminded me of one interpretation of the name of the Templar deity Baphomet - absorption into wisdom. However the vine eminates  from the figures own mouth. Perhaps the people who practise such techniques are ultimately hurting themselves more than any other. Biblically, it is the things which come from the mouth which defile a man.

This oratory weapon is entirely logical when Biblical text is considered. The double tongue was the original weapon of the devil when tempting both Adam and Eve. The presentation of a deliberately false and misleading message. The original set up.
