Revelations 13

When Satanism, the beast or Babylon is mentioned, Revelations or the Appocalypse is probably the most common book of the bible which springs to mind.

What areas of Freemasonry could be considered as being similar to aspects of this chapter? In addition, are there area’s which re-enforce the imitative and opposite theme developed in the article?

Revelations and Daniel

The beast emerges from the sea and stands on the beach. The beach, where the tide ebbs and flows twice in twenty four hours, is the location for the burial of the tongue in the first degree punishment.

It should be noted that the beast which emerges from the sea is a combination of the elements or body parts of the four beasts of Daniel.

In Daniel, one of the beasts was slain and power was removed from the other beasts. This power is given  or ‘returned’ to the combined beast in Revelations by the dragon.

One of the beasts heads has a deaths wound yet it lives. This reflects the slaying of one of the beasts in Daniel which subsequently lives in Revelations.

This death wound is obviously imitated by Freemasonry and the wound to Hiram Abiff who ‘died’ by a blow to the forehead. It is imitated through the initiation and the symbolic enactment of the death of Hiram Abiff  by every Masonic initiate.

The Mission Statement

Note the quotation which is used verse 4 of this chapter of Revelations:-

 ‘Who is like to the beast? And who shall be able to fight with him?’

This appears to be an excellent example of being imitative and opposite of Exodus 15.11:-

 ‘ Who is like to thee among the strong O Lord.’.

Each sentence being similar to the other and following the third degree mission statement - ‘I will be like the most High.’.

It should be remembered that this is an integral feature of the third degree word Machaben or Machbinna. These words being derived from the book of Machabees. The Book of Machabees gets its name specifically from Exodus 15.11. The Masonic words are derived in the same manner.

Second Beast

The next beast which emerges has two horns like a lamb and speaks as a dragon. This would appear to satisfy the imitative and opposite theory. The lamb obviously being predominantly associated with the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.

They are superficially similar yet in total opposition to one and other.

In this regard it is no coincidence that Freemasonry has the outward appearance of Christianity - Relief Truth and Brotherly Love - but inwardly the Masonic initiations are a religious mine field.

The second beast goes on to seduce the earth.

Obviously Freemasonry has not seduced the whole earth. However, Freemasonry is simply a seduction. The entered apprentice is seduced and entrapped in progressing through the initiations. Their biblical ignorance exploited. That is the fundamental point of the initiation.

In terms of the speech after the third degree ‘baptismal grave’ the initiate is described as being darkness visible and an example of what is to come in the future. This statement could be considered as being applicable to the above mentioned apocalyptic seduction of the earth by darkness.

In terms of a simple seduction, the master mason is indeed darkness visible and a visible example of a deception in practice.

Hand Shakes, Signs and Business

Free men and bondmen have a character in their right hand or forehead.

No man may buy or sell unless they have the character, the name or the number of the beast.

Character

The Freemasonic handshakes have such specific ‘character’.

The application of such a ‘character’ to the forehead is enacted in the death of Hiram Abiff by every initiate to the third degree.

The Masonic blow to the forehead and the specific handshakes are simply a mechanism employed to emulate these verses.

Some may point out that this is not a physical character like a scar or tattoo. Would any secret society require its members to obtain a visible mark of identification?

Name

Freemasons receive the ‘secret’ name of their ‘deity’ in the Royal Arch degree - Jah-Bul-On which is simply a blasphemous combination of the name of God together with Old Testament devils. Again Freemasonry is simply emulating these verses.

Number

Every Freemason is recognised by a number. It is 90 degrees or by every perpendicular. The fact that they are all recognised by one specific number is significant in itself and would be worthy of comment.

Simple numerology allows one method of counting the number.

Simple numerology is this. 6+6 = 12 ; 1+2 = 3 ; 3+6 = 9. Nine is obviously imitative and opposite of six.

As far as the Freemasonic number is concerned ; 9 + 0 = 9.

Again Freemasonry is simply emulating these verses.

Business

Freemasonic influence in finance is obvious and undisputed. I could specifically describe two financial power houses in the city of London which may arguably have been founded upon Freemasonry and which have certainly employed Freemasonic symbolism in their official logos.

In one case the symbol is that of a woman holding and pointing a caduceus at a representation of a fallen cross, bare breasted, dress undone over one shoulder and holding a closed book under one arm. The breast is enclosed by a representation of a large ‘L’ as per the Masonic sign which keeps the eyes of the profane from discovering the secrets of Freemasonry. In addition, the symbol is affectionately known as ‘the whore of....company name.’

The organisations influence in the past has effected the whole financial community. However it is interesting to note that this symbol was miniaturized, often appearing at the foot of documentation, making identification of specific aspects difficult for the casual observer. The logo was officially abandoned in 1999. However the headquarters of the organisation retains the services of an unusually high percentage of Freemasonic employees. Yet without an official mandate which would oblige disclosure of membership to secret societies, this will remain hidden.

Apart from that, many men simply join Freemasonry to further their careers.

Fire From Heaven.

Apocalypse13:13 ‘he made also fire to come down from heaven unto the earth in the sight of men’

Fire is used in biblical text to receive sacrifices. This cannot be considered to apply.

Fire from heaven may allude to imitation, in the same manner as Astarte or Ashteroth being described as the ‘queen of heaven’. Another deception by something which immorally imitates God?

Fire is also used to justify and punish individuals. As far as making or provoking fire to come down from heaven the undernoted verses apply. Freemasonic initiation is intended to be an act of deliberate provocation.

There are other similar verses but this one seems significant in association with selling ones self and the removal of the shoe which represents a legal agreement and a submission of a right. It should also be considered in light of the notion of Masonic ‘second sight’ etc etc together with an appreciation of the Third Degree Penalty described in another section:

2Kings 17:17 (K.J) ‘And they caused their sons and daughters to pass through the fire and used divinations and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord to provoke him to anger.’

The Egyptian Three Days of Darkness, with which Freemasonry also has connections, are also descibed as a fire, (Wisdom 17:5). The hearing of strange noises, or as Freemasonry describes it, the Voice of Nature. With one essential difference. The Freemason is not excluded from Gods providence, as the Egyptians were.

Consequently, and in line with other biblical examples, fire may be a reference to exposure to the work of the devil for the purposes of punishment or justification of individuals. For example, St Paul is given a Satanic angel which continually buffets him, the salt of the earth are persecuted,  the period of excile the Isrealites spent in Babylon and everyone must carry their cross and resist the devil. Those that do not and capitulate become the slaves of the thing that overcomes them.

Summary

Whether the reader agrees with the foregoing or not there is one issue which repeatedly comes up.

Yet again the question must be asked, what are the realistic chances that there could be any similarities with Freemasonry contained within an area of biblical text less than two pages in length which specifically relates to the devil and the beast?

It is hoped that by now it will be appreciated that any obvious similarities between Freemasonry and biblical text which relates to the devil are not simply coincidence. Such similarities are not observed by taking information and twisting it and adding detail from several other sources. Some of the similarities are blatantly presented and obvious and require little stretch of the imagination. They have been deliberately included in the words and rituals. They have been included as part of a well planned and methodical strategy from the organisations very inception. Yet and, most importantly, the connection is there to be made. The initiate is instructed to study the bible and invited to investigate and discover it and the initiations contain clues which would enable him to do this.

Yet most people who carry out such research and make such connections simply find the issue too disturbing and would prefer to ignore it.

In addition, one of the largest obstacles which prevents the initiate or an outsider making or accepting such observations is the very well developed chain of miss information which surrounds and confuses the whole issue. In the initiations this is in the form of elaborate theatrics and pontificating. In literature it is in the form of legend and spurious links to a wide variety of issues, the gypsies being one of the most recent I have observed.

It is not being suggested that Freemasonry is the biblical beast. However the Freemasonic core responsible for creating the symbolism and initiations have exploited the biblical ignorance of the initiates. The initiations have been specifically arranged to include satanic references. The spirit of anti - christ or the mechanism of operation has been deliberately emulated. With the outward appearance of a Christian organisation, the initiations are directed towards supplication to the devil itself. Rejecting Christianity and deliberately dissolving the role of Christ - Refer 1 John Ch 4.

The initiates have essentially been seduced into forsaking or acting against the uppermost requirement for entry into Freemasonry. Faith in God.

The obvious question then is why? The obvious answer from an opposing religion to Christianity and Judaism is why not? It is not a conspiracy. It is a religiously motivated hoax. A snare for the innocent without cause.
