Business
- Adopt the constitution as tabled
- Accept the
name of the club as Griffith University Gold Coast Environmental Students
Society (GUESS)
- James Webley was elected as President
- Michael Brickhill was elected as Treasurer
- Michelle Dawson was elected as Secretary
- Tanya Huon said that she would take over the
organising role for the Heron Island Trip, with help from James
Webley. The executive said that in
return, her Heron Island trip fees ($600) would be waived or substantially
reduced.
- Vicci Wilson and Skye Karolak were endorsed as the
Events committee and would organise other events for this semester. They also volunteered to be the 3rd
Year Representatives.
- Lara Boath volunteered to be the 1st
year representative.
- Joanne Oakes was given the task of designing a
T-shirt logo.
- It was decided that the club should have booth at
the Club sign-on day (Tuesday 3/8/04).
Michael Brickhill & Lara Boath, Rhianna Foord & Ben
Robinson, Desiree McLean & Laura Manuel would take turns in running
that.
