This is an assignment for a teaching credential program through CSUN.  

We are required to complete a technology course that teaches us how to create websites and various other activities such as 

creating a Power Point presentation, a video using I-Movie, and a Microsoft Excel grade book.  

Knowing how to use technology in the classroom will give us the tools to suceed in the rapidly growing technologically advancing society.   

This class has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge on websites and to encourage me to use my creativity.

Dr. Tae Chang is our professor who currently is employed through CSUN as an Assistant Professor.

About Me

My name is Stacey Guerrero and I came from a community up in Northern California.  Although I love the weather and lifestyle 

up there, I wanted a change of scenery and  therefore decided to come to Los Angeles for college.  

I graduated with a degree in Communication Studies however, I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted to do with my life in terms of a career.  

I tried a few different avenues but my heart wasn't in them.  I finally realized that I love working with children and that I wanted to make a difference in

 someone's life.  It was important to me to do something meaningful and worth while.  

Therefore, I decided to apply for the ACT program at CSUN which allows for an individual to get their teaching credential 

in 10 months at an accelerated pace.  I am extremely excited to begin my career as a teacher.  

I hope to help instill a love for learning in each and everyone of my students and encourage them to succeed to the best of their abilities.

Something Interesting About Me

Something interesting about me is that I have a passion for cooking.  

I enjoy baking homemade breads from scratch,  deserts, and inventing my own sauces.  I take great pride in my kitchen and am 

always up to the challenge for creating new dishes!

I also enjoy watching dog training shows and hope to have my dog compete in agility once she is old enough.
