Ever since 2002, Guernsey Hollow Cemetary was abandoned for public use because of reported ghost hauntings. What makes this cemetery so interesting is that it is located of an old dirt road, in the woods. No cars, no people, except for deers and bears go through at night. Even sometimes at day time, there isnt hardly any traffic at all. There are in fact several homes that people live in on Guernsey Hollow road. All of the homes there have big drive ways, so it's hard not to mistake looking up someones driveway for the gate. Its completly surrounded by rod iron fences, and two big boulders, on each side of the gate. The cemetary cannot be located by just driving by. You must stop, get out of your car, and walk. Sometimes, the trail will be muddy. There are big rocks, one rock, wich is covered in glass, and they are pushed over to the side, forming a drive way type trail. The trail is really spooky, but you'll get used to walking it after a few visits. Some people have reported seing animals hung up on the cemetarys cross, ghostly appirations, and talking trees, which is undoubtfully ghosts. Ghost hunters, such as the paranormal & ghost society have captured photographs of orbs, plasma, and actual ghosts on film. Below are some pictures shot by the paranormal and ghost society during the day time. |
