The SSPX: Enemies of the Pope
The Society of St Pius X is a schismatic group which has taken and sullied the name of the great Pope St Pius X as well as the title of "traditional Catholic" by their continued, informed and willful refusal to submit to the authority of the See of Peter. They claim to be upholding the Latin traditions of the Church, yet they break the oldest tradition of the Church by their refusal to submit to the Successor of St Peter, Christ's vicar on earth. Other noble and pious groups such as the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest and the Fraternal Society of St Peter set the right example by preserving the traditional liturgy of the Church within the full unity of the Church, in communion with Rome and the Supreme Pontiff. The SSPX has caused nothing but harm and division, being mother to other more radical persons and groups including sedevacantists and anti-popes that have broken from them, in every way repeating the trends of the Protestant revolt.
