U, I saw U right from the start, the moment I walked through the door
U were with somebody else strolling across the polished floor
I decided right there and then to come back and see U again for sure
I hung around for a while and noticed U lived in the kitchen drawer
And U were beautiful to me

U, I put U out of my mind for a couple of months or maybe more
U flashed back into my brain:
"Come right away", U called, "before dawn"
I came as fast as I could, it wasn't my car but time was short
They tried to lock me out of your life
So I smashed through the door - it's not my fault
And U were waiting there for me

Gotta put on my pink apron delight
Get outta these clothes - they're feeling too tight
Cup of tea ? Mmmm, ta, think that I might

I took off all of my clothes, U made me so hot dancing round the hall
We danced for the rest of the night
The kitchen was trashed - must've had a ball
We went outside to the car, swallowed by mist to headbutt the horn
We must've made too much noise
The boys soon arrived with their pistols drawn
And U were sitting there with me

Had to put on my pink apron delight
Get outta my clothes, didn't need them last night
