Mrs. Fudge Show: Children of Sanchez, Land of Make Believe, and Malaguena Uniforms: Black unitards with red sequined fronts Flags: Red and gold lightning flags, rainbow flags, and flame flags on 5 1/2 foot poles. Also introduced were yellow swing flags and red chain flags. Number of Members: 10 Memoirs: - This was the first year that the band went to competitions in 15 years. They received excellent ratings and many trophies. - After a petition to the school board, new marching uniforms were purchased for the band and the black unitard with red sequined front uniform was purchased for the color guard. - A Krispy Kreme Doughnut fundraiser helped the band and guard to purchase much-needed equipment. - This was the first year that the color guard had local businesses sponsor them. - Rifles were introduced to the field for the first time in many years; taped with red prism on one side and gold prism on the other. - The dancers during the trombone solo in Malaguena used red folding fans as a prop. - This was the second season that there was a male member of the color guard. |
