| Nick�s shirt in this scene has quietly become an obsession of mine. It�s not your typical male dress shirt. The sleeves at the shoulder are sewn in with some slight folds and the sleeves themselves are wider than average. I�ve seen the shirt referred to elsewhere online as Nick�s �poet� shirt and that description seems fitting to me. This episode and its companion are filled with moments when the viewer can appreciate the physicality of the main actor but the scenes in the loft fully articulate what an incredibly handsome man Geraint Wyn Davies is. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This shirt is also strangely appropriate given the circumstances. Nick is wallowing in guilt over his inability to love a mortal woman and the shirt, worn untucked, in addition to his violent outburst at Natalie and himself adds to the tormented soul look. The shirt also carries with it a sense of elegance that isn�t normally found in male fashions nowadays without taking it to the extreme. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| In this and in the scene preceding it we see for the first time what Natalie�s hair looks like down. My initial response almost 10 years ago when I first saw Forever Knight�s first season was �Whoa! Honey you need to tame that down,� but I have to say that as this season has cemented itself as my all-time favorite season my appreciation for her hair has grown.Yes its screams left over 1980s look but Disher pulls it off. It at times threatens to overpower her but never actually does it. Natalie's hair is rarely styled loose anyway and it�s usually pinned up either on the side or at the nape of her neck. Also, as the season proceeds her hair does slightly lengthen and the perm eventually fades out. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Wardrobe wise her outfit is rather sedate and with the exception of her coat it�s lacking the color she usually wears. Her dress is black with gold buttons down the front and a simple rounded collar. Natalie�s coat has a plaid cranberry and blue-green coloring with blue-green accents on the sleeves and pockets. She accessorizes with a multicolored silk scarf and a dark square bag.
