No cop show regardless of its supernatural bent is complete without its own resident medical examiner. On Forever Knight that distinction fell on Natalie Lambert--young, attractive, and Hell bent on helping Nick reach his goal mortality. For many of the actors on television who portray coroners the wardrobe consists of mainly functional, shapeless surgical scrubs and our first introduction to Catherine Disher's Natalie involves just that. Decked out in one of her wardrobe staples, Natalie wears white scrubs under a long-sleeved surgical gown. One interesting component of her wardrobe that appeared only once more in a later episode is Natalie's odd white baseball cap. It's an odd piece of wardrobe that I don't believe has been ever used in other series but I could be wrong on that. |

In an amusing moment actress Catherine Disher uses her headgear/prop in a visually fun way by propping the bill of the cap upward during her consultation with Wyn Davies' Nick. It's a simple and innocuous moment that adds something extra to the scene. Finally, Disher's very permed, very 80s hair is pulled into a quasi braid though the opening in the back of the white cap. |

When Natalie is called to the scene of a homicide it is there where we get a look at her professional wardrobe. In Dark Knight that doesnt happen until towards the end of the first hour. As the series progresses Natalies professional wardrobe will consist mostly of business suits, matching ensembles, and feminine blazers but in the first season her wardrobe was somewhat eclectic yet still young and professional. Natalies outfit in her final scene in Dark Knight hints at that. |

Although her outfit underneath is indistinguishable Natalie wears her coat in what is very much the style of the times, the collar is turned upwards to frame the neck. Her hair is pulled back into a low, short ponytail and a face framing strand is loose on one side. Another thing that should be noted in regards to Natalie is her make-up. Repeatedly her lipstick is in a shade that was extremely popular in the early 1990sa matte, red or coral shade. |
