This is Ferio. He is the younger brother of Princess Emeraude but he lost his memory long ago. He became a swordsman and didn't know why but he wanted to save the Princess. When he met the Magic Kngihts he fell in love with Fuu, the Knight of Wind, and swore to prtoect her and kept in contact with her by a magic orb.

This is Fuu HouHouji. She is the Magic Knight of Wind. With the Rune God Windam, she fights with her friends to save Cephiro. She is coolheaded and is very nice and smart. Her magic spells include Winds of Protection, Winds of Admonishment, Emerald Typhoon, and Winds of Healing.

Darn. Ferio really likes the lime light...uh oh...I think Mokona is coming.

There he is! Or is he a girl? Hmmmm....He/She is kawaii anyway! so it's okay! Mokona can carry everything with that jewel on its head!!

And Hikaru has come to chase after Mokona! As the Magic Knight of Fire, She she is strong and couragous and stands up for what is right. She use the spells of Fire including Flame Arrow and Ruby Lightning!

And finally the third Magic Knight of Water, who is a fencing champion as well. She at first is snobbish and a shoppaholic but other than that she is a good friend and protects them with her life. With spells at her disposal of Water Dragon and Sapphire Whirl Wind she can't be stopped!

Summoned the Magic Knights from Earth. She wanted them to grant her, the wish of death because they were the only ones who could. They needed Rune Gods to defeat her in the end, and then her spirit was able to go see her love, Zagato when the killed her.

Master Mage Clef summoned the magic inside each other magic knights, it is to him that they defeated the darker form of Princess Emeraude and saved the world. He is the most powerful sorcerer in all of Cephiro but early in the season he was turned into stone by a spell of Zagato but was able to speak to the girls through the guide Mokona.

Presea is a weapons maker. She was the only one who could forge weapons from the legendary Escudo. Due to a horrible trick by Ascot she died but was able to make the Magic Knights' weapons of the escudo.

Ascot is an ally of the Magic Knights. He is a summoner. Right before Fuu managed to revive the second rune god, he decided to join them. He is a kawaii little boy.

Caldina is an illusionist and a dancer. She loves money money money. She feels Ascot as a little brother and was determined to kill the magic knights but decided not to when Ascot protected Fuu from harms way.

Lefarga was the captain of the guard who was to protect the Princess while she prayed for Cephiro. He is the greatest Swordmaster of all of Cephiro cutting wind as an attack. He was mind controlled by Zagato to defeat the Magic Knights but because of his folly of trying to kill Hikaru with her own sword he was burned almost to death but regained his memories and became their ally.

Zagato is the priest of Cephiro. He was supposed to guide the Princess in her prayers but fell in love with her. He tried to keep his feelings silent but when he found out that she had the same feelings for him, he took her making it look like a kidnapping but so she could be with him. And because of this she summoned the Magic Knights.

Alcyone, a sorceress under High Priest Zagato did everything she was commanded of him because she loved him. The first to battle the "eggs that would of hatched into Magic Knights", she lost the battle and fled. She kept trying but failed again and again. Later she found out of Zagato's love for another and she fled the castle to be alone.
