The blinding flash that occurred in the Frozen Deaths has long since ended.  Kenshin is lying on the grass unconscious.  Legend is in his hand.  For the longest time there is nothing, then Legend starts to glow.  The glow slowly works its way up Kenshin's arm then surrounds his entire body.  The sword begins to lose its structural integrity.  It turns into what appears to be a puddle of liquid.  That liquid makes its way to Kenshin's arm and surrounds it.

Inside Kenshin's mind, Legend and Kenshin's consciousness have begun to intermingle.  <"Kenshin?">  Legend calls to him in his mind.  <"Kenshin?">  It calls again.

<"What?  Is that you Legend?">  Kenshin asks as he becomes aware.

<"Yes.  Let me ask you a question.  Do you know why Argo is doing the things that he is doing?">  Legend asks.

                <"No I do not.">  Kenshin answers.

<"I will tell you why he does these things, and what he desires.  To understand his madness we must start at the beginning.  Once upon a time, many many years ago there was a demon named Majin Buu.  This demon went around destroying planets and killing many innocent people.  I took it upon myself to use the mystical sword called Legend to protect Camelot.">

<"Wait a minute I thought you were Legend.">  Kenshin breaks in.

<"No I am Legend's first master.  As I said I was chosen as the one most worthy to wield Legend.  I created a spell to protect Camelot from Majin Buu and any internal enemies.  But this spell was so complicated and took so much magical powers that I was forced to sacrifice myself.  But my mind, memories, and soul were absorbed into Legend, so in a way I still live.">

                <"Spell?  What spell?">  Kenshin demands.

<"I am sure you know about it.  The spell is the protective barrior that surrounds Camelot.  The barrior protects from outside invaders by hidding Camelot and allowing only a few people to leave the planet.  It protects from internal enemies by responding to the hearts of the people.">

<"Responding to the people?">  Kenshin is silent for a second.  <"Wait a minute, you mean?">

<"Yes.  If the people are ruled by a tyrant then the barrior will disappear so that people from the outside can save the people of Camelot.  When Argo tried to become my master I could see his thoughts, his memories, and his desires.  He wishes to destroy the barrior and rule this world with outsiders.">

<"I'll stop him.  He maybe powerful, but he's only a man.">  Kenshin says with some determination.

                <"Actually he is a god.">  Legend says.

                <"A god?  How?">

<"Argo is the god of Camelot.  There was a reason that Daniel was one of Argo's first targets.  Daniel was the god of Camelot.  He was chosen by the hearts of the people of Camelot.  When Daniel died Argo, who was second in the hearts of the people, became the god.">

<"What does this mean?">  Kenshin asks.

<"It means that his magic and ki have been increased some, that is all.">

<"But Argo can't use his ki with any skill.  But what course of action should I take?">  Kenshin asks.

<"You should wait.  When you awake you and Legend shall be intermingled.  You shall still be separate entities, but you will have access to Legend's vast knowledge.  You will find that your ki and magic will have increased, your spells will have increased, and you will also have access to Legend's power.  The most valuable of these to you will be Legend's ability to heal almost any injure, disease, or poison, providing it is in your hands.">

                <"So I wait?">  Kenshin asks.

Kenshin slowly awakes as he feels something wet upon his hand.  He immediately knows what happening.  He slowly raises his hand and pet Chibi.  "Hey Chibi."  He says as he pets his faithful wolf.  Kenshin puts his hands on the ground and pushes himself up.  He finally opens his eyes when he's sitting up.  He looks around.  "This place looks familiar."  He thinks.  He gets up and looks to the west.  There is a forest in the west that Kenshin immediately recognizes.  "That forest!  I know that forest!"  He looks around and recognizes the terrain.  "I'm home."  He says.  As Kenshin surveys the area he notices something he really didn't want to see, Chibi standing next to a dead Kasan.  Kenshin calmly walks over to them.  "She didn't make it."  He says.  Kenshin looks around once more and figures out their exact location.  Kenshin bends down and picks up Kasan.  "The sword must have transported us back home.  Wait a minute, where is the sword?"  Kenshin looks around but sees nothing.  <"Legend, where are you?">  Kenshin calls out in his mind.

<"Look on your left arm.">  Legend says in Kenshin's mind.

Kenshin does so.  "What the Hell?!?"  Kenshin yells out.  There on his left arm are six red gems, one on of his palm, one on the back of his hand, one in the fron of his forearm, one on the back of his forearm, one in backside of his elbow, and one on the tip of his shoulder.  <"What is this?">

<"This the form that Legend takes until called upon.">  Legend says.

<"Don't you think you should have told me about this?">  Kenshin asks.

<"Don't worry.  Soon you'll know all about Legend and its powers.">

Kenshin and Chibi begin walking southeast.  Within the hour they make it to Daniel's old home.  When Kenshin comes across Daniel's grave he uses a small ki attack to open up the ground near it.  He swiftly buries the wolf.  Kenshin and Chibi go to Daniel's old home.  "Stay here for a second."  Kenshin tells the wolf.  Kenshin walks in.  He walks around.  The house hasn't been touched.  There is so much dust it is hard to breathe.  The spider webs are also abundant.  Kenshin quickly exits the house.  "Come on."  Kenshin and Chibi walk the short distance to Iris' home.

"Kenshin!"  Iris' mother waves to them from the home.  Iris' father stands next to her.  He is silent.  It's almost like he knows something is wrong.

He finally says something when Kenshin gets to the house.  "What's wrong?"  He asks.

"I'm sorry."  Kenshin says.  "I've lost your daughter."

"What do you mean lost?"  Iris' father asks.

"It's a long story."  Kenshin says.

"Come in and have some tea."  Iris' mother says.

"That would be best.  Two more will be joining us, and I need something for my wolf."  Kenshin says.

"I was wondering about that thing."  Iris' father says.  Chibi tosses his head in the air as to say I'm too good for you then gives a little growl.

"Knock it off Chibi."  Kenshin says as he walks into the house.  Soon after Kenshin has finished his story Sen and Gabriel arrive.  They immediately ask about Iris.

                "Where is she?"  Sen asks.

"Do you know, Kenshin?"  Gabriel asks.

"No I don't.  I haven't been able to sense her ki since I woke up."  Kenshin says.

"Then that means she's. . .she's..."  Sen starts to say.

"That doesn't mean anything."  Gabriel snaps.

"But where is she?"  Iris' mother asks.

"I think I know."  Kenshin says.

"Where is she?"  Iris' father asks.

"I think she's in the capital."  Kenshin says.

"The capital?  Why do you think that?"  Sen asks.

"Because I can't sense Argo.  The capital has a shield over it to protect it.  I can't sense anyone or anything in the capital."  Kenshin says.

"So she's alive?"  Iris' mother asks.

"Odds are yes.  When the sword unleashed its power it knocked us out and scattered us.  That's why we all woke up in different places.  I'm willing to bet that Argo woke up near Iris."  Kenshin says.

"But he must know that she is a powerful sorceress.  Why wouldn't he just kill her?"  Gabriel asks.

"But he doesn't know.  Remember, Iris didn't cast any spells so Argo probably doesn't know that she's a sorceress."  Kenshin says.

                "So what now?"  Gabriel asks.

"If you have mastered the sword I'd guess you could give us some insight as to what Argo wants."  Sen starts.  "What does he want?"

Kenshin tells everyone about Argo's intentions.  "What?!?"  Gabriel yells out.

"Even an idiot knows that you shouldn't trust outsiders when it comes to ruling!"  Sen says.

"I know, I know."  Kenshin says.

"So what are you going to do, Kenshin?"  Iris' father asks.

"You need to ask?"  Iris' mother yells.  "He's going to bust into the capital and get our daughter back!"

                "I can't."  Kenshin says.

"What do you mean you can't?"  Iris' mother asks.  Kenshin doesn't answer.

Finally Sen does.  "Argo easily beat all of us, even Kenshin.  Attacking him now would be suicide."  Sen says.

"Kenshin is this true?"  Iris' father asks.  Kenshin only nods.  "I can't believe this!"  He thinks.  "Iris and Daniel both told me that Kenshin was stronger than Daniel.  And now Argo's even stronger than Kenshin?  How can that be?"

"I can only think of one thing to do."  Kenshin says as he gets up.  "This is our last hope, our saving throw."  He says as he walks around.

Three hours later Gabriel, Sen, and Chibi are riding off towards the north.  "How in the hell did your horses know to come back here?"  Gabriel yells at Sen.

"They're my babies!"  Sen yells back.  "They know to return to either my house or Daniel's house.  It's the way I raised them to act."  Chibi gives a little whimper as they ride along.  "Don't worry Chibi!"  Sen tells the wolf.  "Kenshin will be all right."

Gabriel takes a look at Chibi, then at Sen, and then at himself.  "I don't understand what's going on.  The wolf can keep up with the horses with ease, and I feel stronger than I've ever felt before.  Is this the power of sword?  Did it do this?"  He thinks as he rides on.

"Kenshin."  Gabriel thinks.  "I'm not exactly sure what you're up to.  But right now all we can do is trust you."

Speaking of Kenshin.  At the exact time Gabriel and Sen were riding off, Kenshin was preparing for his own departure.  "Kenshin you take care of yourself and bring back my little girl, o.k.?"  Iris' mother tells Kenshin.

"Of course he'll bring back Iris!  You don't have to tell him that."  Iris' father says.

"Oh!"  He says as he remembers something.  "Here."  He says as he hands a small box to Iris' mother.  "Hold onto that for me."

"What is it?"  Iris' mother asks.

"I made a little stop once we crossed the Lake of Red."  Kenshin says.  "I visited a friend of Daniel's there."  He says as Iris' mother opens the box.

She nearly cries when she sees what's in the box.  "Is that why you're waiting a month?  So you can,"

"That's one of the reasons."  Kenshin interrupts her.  "But I also need the month to prepare.  I'm sure that with Legend's help I'll be strong enough to kill Argo."  He says confidently.  Iris' father takes a look in the box.  Then looks at Kenshin.  Then back at the box.  Then back at Kenshin.

"Go for it!"  He yells out.  "Kick that sorcerer's ass!"

Kenshin is a little surprised to here Iris' father say something like this, but he recovers from it rather quickly.  "Of course!"  He says.  "I'll be back in little less than a month!"  He says as he runs off.  As soon as Kenshin puts some distance between him and the house he flies off to the west.  "I might as well see how fast I can get there."  He thinks.  "Top speed!"  He yells as he increases his ki and his aura explodes around him.  He yells out as he speeds up and breaks the sound barrior.  Even at that speed it still takes Kenshin three hours to make it to his destination.

                <"Here?">  Legend asks.

<"Yep.">  Kenshin says as he lands.  "Greenland."  Greenland is just what it sounds like, an island of rainforest.  Every square inch of the island is rainforest and mountains.  It is located on the equator of Camelot somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000 miles from the capital.  It is also the only place on Camelot where the force of gravity is not equal to that of the Earth, here the force of gravity is about three times that of the Earth's.  The animals around here are also much larger and stronger than the animals elsewhere on the planet.  Thankfully there aren't any dragons or leviathans living there.

                <"Now what?">  Legend asks.

<"I train.  I guess I have about 26 days to train.  Then I'm head back Iris' and then meet up with Gabriel, Sen, and Chibi.">

<"26 days?">  Legend says.  <"That should be enough time for you to master some of Legend's powers.">

                <"Good.">

Time passes without anyone knowing what must come.  26 days pass without any really major events.  On Greenland Kenshin has nearly completed his training.  He stands a mountain peak deep within the rainforest.  He has his eyes closed and pointed to the sky, almost like he was looking for a sign.  His clothes are ripped, muddy, and blood stained from his training.  His muscles have grown larger from the training, and Legend is in its gems form.  Slowly Kenshin's ki begins to increase.  His gray aura flares up around him.  For a moment he does nothing as his ki continues to increase.  Then just as his aura turns golden he opens his eyes.  Other than the color of his aura changing the only other change is the lack of pupils.  Kenshin screams out as he brings his hands/palms together (ala the kamehameha).

"Move it you two!"  Sen yells behind him.  Behind him Gabriel rides with another man near him.  Chibi is running alongside Sen as they continue on a grassy plain.  "We've only got two days to get to the redivious point!"

"Our being five feet behind you won't do anything to our time!"  Gabriel yells back.  He turns to the young man riding by him.  "Are you all right finess?"

"I'm fine lets just get there!"  The young man says.  The young man is indeed the prince.  He is maybe 25 years old, short blonde hair.  The king had sent the prince north to hide him from Argo.  Gabriel was the only living knight to know where he was.  Gabriel and Sen rode north gathering support for an assult on the capital and Argo himself.  After retreaving the prince, Gabriel, Sen, Chibi, and the prince began to return to a city near the capital to marshal their forces.  Suddenly Gabriel and Sen stop their horses.  "What's going on?"  The prince asks.  "I thought we needed to get their as soon as possible?"

"Gabriel, do you feel that ki?"  Sen asks.

"Yeah.  It's a bit different but there's no mistake.  It's Kenshin."  Gabriel says.

"Kenshin?"  The prince asks.  "You mean that guy you two were talking about?"

                "Yeah."  Gabriel says.

                "What's he doing?"  Sen asks.

"He's building up his ki."  Gabriel says.

"Yeah I know that.  But why build up a massive amount of ki?"  Sen again asks.  Suddenly the horizon becomes lit up as if there were another sun.  Then a beam of red light shots up and out of the atmosphere.  The beam and light continue for another minute or so then end.  "Damn."  Sen says total stunned.

"You've got that right."  The prince says.

Gabriel appears to be extatic.  "Did you see and feel that?!?"  He yells out.  "Kenshin's become unbelieveable powerful.  We can win!"

"We need to get there first."  Sen says as he gets his horse moving again.

"Right."  Gabriel says as he and the prince follow.

Back on Greenland, Kenshin's attack has devistated the island.  Little of the rainforest is left and very few of the mountains still tower in the sky.  He lands on the now charded ground.  <"Impressive.">  Legend says.  Kenshin cracks a smile.  <"Shall we?">  Legend asks.

<"Lets.">  Kenshin response.  His gray aura flares up as he flies off to the east.  "Three more days."  Kenshin thinks as he flies on.
