After we got our Wendys we kept on driving. Then it happened...we saw for the first time the Pacific Ocean. It was so amazing. It was so blue and not many boats. It was just a huge rush for us. When we got to the beach it was really really exciting. We were both in dresses so couldn't go in the water, but we did put our feet in. We were amazed at how smooth and not hot the sand was, and how COLD the water was. The seaweed was also REALLY big, but fun to play with. After playing in the water for a while we walked along and stopped at some of the outside shopping stands along the beach. We also saw an outdoor skate park which was really cool.
Then we went onto the peir and did some shopping and took some more pictures. It was so beautiful and peaceful there. DEFINATLY worth the long drive.
Later that Night we had a dinner we had to go to. Hense the dresses. It was Nicoles 2nd cousins singing chef dinner show. It was pretty fun, and the food was...well..interesting. We had more fun making fun of the food and people than the actual show. But I guess it was alright. Afterwards we walked around Santa Barbara for a little while, then headed home.
It was definatly a fun and memorable day.
