On the fifth day we went to NBC studios in Burbank California. From the outside it looks nothing more then a giant office building being both tall and wide. We then had to wait for the next tour to open up. It was a walking tour and didn't have very much to show. That is probably why it was very cheap to get in! There they tape Access Hollywood, The Tonight Show, and their big thing Days of Our Lives. We first watched a little video of the history of the station. Then our (very hot!!) tour guide took us on a walking tour of the building. We went outside and got to see one of Jay Leno's cars. The story is that he tries to never bring the same car twice. He has that many!! Anyway we then got to go into the Tonight Show set. The set is a lot smaller then it looks on TV! The city back drop behind Leno was AWESOME! You can't see it on TV but it is very colorful and 3d. Nicole is the dork who found that to be the best part! After that we walked past the Days of Our Lives set and got to check out the production going on in there. After that we were introducted to how they make sets, props and clothing. That is pretty much it for that tour. Saddly they don't allow cameras on this and most of the tours out there so we don't have pictures of all the stuff we mentioned.
