Seeing Hollywood was like a dream come true. It was definatly the most "city-like" part of the trip, but still so amazing. There were three main things that we saw/did while we were there. First we got to walk around THE Kodak Theater!!!! Alaina was freaking out! The same building that so many amazing actors/actresses have "Thanked the acedemy" in...we were in. It was truly a dream! On the walls they had ever film that has one the Oscar for best film since the begining up to today. The place was just so beautiful, and man...words can just not describe the emotions that were felt. After that we got to walk along the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We saw the stars of people like Tom Selleck, Whoopi Goldberg, Susan Serandon, Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, and many many more. Then we saw Mann's Chinese Theater! It was amazing! Just thinking how many great people from Shirley Temple (who Alaina got a picture with her hands) to Jack Nicholson have put there hands and feet there. It was a total rush for us, and So amazing! Then we walked over to the Wax Museam. It was really really cool. They had a lot of people in there like Jay Leno, Harrison Ford, the Wizard of Oz and Star Wars cast, the presidents, and even Godzilla. LoL It was just awesome. There was one part that was quite scary called something like Trail of Terror that had things from like Dracula and stuff like that. I'll (Alaina) admit it...I screamed at times! lol But yeah...you'd be scared too! Hollywood was just amazing. All the people walking on the streets, the cars were awesome, and it was definatly a memorable night. We also got a glimpse from the outside of the Hollywood and Highland Laser show. It was pretty cool. We didn't get to go in though because it was getting pretty late, and we were definatly getting tired. |
