Coaches Development Workshop
An initiative of the USA TENNIS Plan for Growth

To encourage the development of tennis, the USTA is pleased to announce our nation-wide training program for the people teaching and coaching tennis programs.� Ideal for Parents, Tennis Coaches, Physical Education Teachers, General Education Teachers, High School Coaches, and Recreational Instructors.
Faculty:
Arnold Yuen
� Director of Recreational Tennis, Hawaii Pacific Section, USTA
� USTA National Trainer of Development Coaches
� USPTA, USPTR Certified Professional
� 16 years of teaching experience with emphasis in coaching team tennis and large groups.

Materials provided:
Packet for instructional materials, new  "USTA Learn to Rally and Play " book and "USTA Youth and Adult " guidebooks.

Tuition:
$20.00
This one-day program serves as an introductory course for new teachers and experienced teachers to learn the Games Approach to teaching.  This new trend will energize your students and keep them coming back for more. The workshop provides a basic overview of the following topics:

� Guided Discovery Learning
