Inírida's flores

There is a wild plant(floor), which is given in the Inírida's south part looked like to a big pasture of the green brilliant one. It(he,she,I) would happen(pass) for anyone of this that eat up the cows, if it(he,she) was not because in any of his(its,her) tops flowers arise rare(strange) from rigid and sharp-pointed petals, thick(bulky) thorns(bones). His(its) silhouette remembers(reminds) more to the seeds of the dandelion that to a rose or a daisy. When the petals are harvested newly - if this way they can llamarse - they go on of the pink intense one to the red dark one of the base to the top. In 15 days, more or less, they become even more rigid and take the same color of the husk of the rice when they are dry. Of there in forward it(he,she) is where they have his(its) maximum difference with others(other,different) flowers: His(its,her) petals never fall, as if it was a question of a symbol of the eternal love. Maybe it(he,she) is because it is a question of a spike, not of one flower. But also it(he,she) has an unusual characteristic, and is that only devotes ZZZself in Inírida's surroundings. It(he,she) seems to be that he(she) needs to feel nearby to the muddy floor(flat), in the illuminated parts of the jungle, or that the sylvan floor(flat) iniridense has minerals that others do not have. It(he,she) devotes ZZZself wild in the glens and burns also when they want to enlist them for the pasture.

Several years ago, native of the place decided that one flower so beautiful might be commercialized between(among) the people of the village, to do adornments or for to be given between(among) yes. It was the first one in selling them and today in day they are the symbol of the municipality and of the department. They appear in the shield, in the front pages(fronts) of the plans of development, in the posters and almanacs of tourist promotion and in the songs that the plainsmen have dedicated him. Even there is two monuments, one in the port and other one in the highway to the airport. The first one is of metal, pink in his(its,her) petals and up to(even) chuzan his(its,her) tops; other one looks like more a funny condom, of those who sell(bandage) in the shops of jokes. But the flores indeed is easy to obtain. When one comes to the airport, the first thing that offer him on having gone down the plane they are the arrangements of these flowers. Those who harvest them (I do not know if they cultivate them) they know that the tourists and the employees are those who more buy, so they offer them in branches of to 15. They organize them in ascending(rising) spiral, with the biggest in the center and the small ones around.

The flores, as the palm-tree, does not devote each other where one wants. They are a sign of that there is some birth it(he,she) surrounds. Anyhow, much was not what I could verify in the matter. The majority of the colonists only knows that they devote each other thereabouts and I do not believe that it(he,she,I) has(have) done them to him(you,them) very much study. The attempt for commercializing them has limited itself to the department and his(its,her) surroundings, the rest of the country if it(he,she) knows that they exist is of pure fluke. His(its) first one comercializador, Reynaldo Plazas Hernández, better acquaintance as gift "Culebro", died in the misery, in the last month that I spent(passed) in Inírida. It was supported by a lady who was not even of his(its) family. His(its) lucrative idea today her(it) they take advantage of others.

The Whole world knows that the Colombian flores is one of the more profitable products of exportation and that in marketing rose and other species(kinds) we compete(competed) even with Holland. Why not to think about Inírida's flores? There is no a symbol for the lasting love clearer than they, since they dry off but they do not fade up, they are sharp-pointed but they last forever. Clear it(he,she) is, if the weevil falls(falls due) them in a few months they will turn powder, but it it(he,she) fixes up spraying them with thin lacquer rightly when they are begun to dry off. it(he,she,I) saves(save) Inírida! The whole world knows that there are ways, it is not necessary to have but to cross them.
