I have been wanting to do a full electric conversion on a car for
a while now. I have been looking for something cheap, light
weight, and fairly common for parts availability. I came across this
1996 Subaru Impreza for $500.
It is AWD with an automatic transmission. It
runs fine, but desperately needs new CV axles and leaks a little coolant. There are a
few dents, but nothing serious. Its a good candidate for an
electric conversion. I have started stripping out the interior
for weight savings. I also ordered new CV axles for the front.
