Today I leave Colorado. I've enjoyed a successful hunt with and met some great people. For anyone who has never been to Colorado the magnificent beauty of this area alone is worth the trip. Eagle Spirit Outfitters is a class operation. They take care as to not overly pressure the animals and put tremendous effort into recovering those shot as evidenced by both the recovery of my Elk but also in the many hours put into the search for Travis' bull.

Jager is outta here, had to catch a plane. Travis is out helping pack out a 5x5 that Jay got last evening. Jay has promised a photo for this page but chose to stay out of the limelight for most of our activities. Curt and Jack are giving it the college try today on one last hunt.

Curt and Jack were into them at first light. Unfortunately the cows spooked and so went the bulls. Wind kicked up good in the pm and we saw nothing but blue sky.
