| The WARTHOG is arguably the worst vehicle in the game. The combination of its relatively slow speed, bad turning ability, and lack of self-defense make it a moving death trap. The WARTHOG comfortably seats up to 3 people including the driver, making it a "TRIPLE KILL" for anyone in a tank. Though it sports a M41 LAAG (light anit-aircraft gun), which makes it perfect for shooting down all the flying vehicles in multiplayer (if there were any), the only draw back is you need another person to fire this weapon of "apocalyptic" proportions. Best advice for anyone who wants to win in HALO multiplayer...stay away from the WARTHOG!!! It is so lousy, and i don't think your insurance will cover it. Instead of thinking of the WARTHOG as a combat vehicle, think of it as a portable "WALL", or a means of transportation, but definately never an assault vehicle. In "BLOOD GULCH" you can use the jeep to jam either the front or back of your base, and if you really want to be sneaky, you can steal your enemy's jeep and jam both the front and back of your base! If the enemy trys to get in your base, the only way in is through the top, and even if they get in, they will have a bit of a challenge getting out, especially when your shoving a shotgun down their mouths!! ** NOTE: this same tatic works in SIDEWINDER, be creative, and see what else you can block....a teleporter perhaps? |
