| The GHOST is the kind of vehicle where if you know how to use it, its the best the vehicle in the world and if you don't you just look like a straight out lousy fool. The GHOST is the smallest and fastest vehicle in the game, making it able to fit virtually anywhere! Because of its speed, the GHOST is an ideal vehicle for PHANTOM CTF, (where you are on offense or defence for a certain amount of time i.e. 5 mins.). The GHOST seats one, and has a built in user-friendly PLASMA based weapons system, in other words, its like a pedestrian with a PLASMA RIFLE... that never over-heats, and never runs out of ammo!! When in the GHOST you have a slight advantage over everyone and anyone no matter what vehicle they are in, unless they are in a GHOST then it comes right down to skills and who got the first shot off. If you happen to come into contact with a JEEP with a GUNNER, the first thing you should do is NOT WORRY... come on its a lousy JEEP!!! But, so as not to let the JEEP take away your shield, AIM for the GUNNER first, once the GUNNER falls the JEEP is like a moving "teddy bear". But inorder to succeed in HALO multiplayer you need to be savage and "beast"-like. So your next objective is to crush that 'teddy bear' and burn a PLASMA hole through his "stuffing". When faced against a TANK, the first thing you should do is keep some distance, and WATCH where his turrent is pointed, if he is looking no where near you, then drive up behind him and keep firing and DONT STOP!!! Your PLASMA rounds will "FREEZE" the turrent making it next to impossible for the TANK to get a shot at you. If the TANK driver is a NEWB, he will remain in the TANK and DIE, if he is smart he will get out and try his luck on foot. **NOTE: if he does get out and try to engage you on foot it is likely that his HEALTH is already very low. The first thing you should do is try to run the lousy over, but if you are un-able to see him... get out and HUNT HIM DOWN!!** When you are faced with a GHOST vs. GHOST situation it basically comes down to raw skill. THE BEST GHOST DRIVER WILL PREVAIL! When in high speed battles like this it may be necessary to lead your shot. You almost will NEVER be in a situation where you are chasing another GHOST. Most always, it is a sort of "circle" battle where each GHOST strafes either clockwise or counter-clockwise. It is really quite a beautiful sight to see 2 GHOST's battling it out, like some sort of ritualistic dance or something. Anyway the bottom line is SKILL will always PREVAIL! |
