Worship

Worship means to give up or to offer a sacrifice or to bow down.  We recognize what is of the highest worth-not ourselves or others but God.  Only the highest beings deserve our highest respect.  Genesis 22:5 (Abram reveals true worship)

Worship is the act of reverence or fear.     Kings 17:28-36

We must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.     John 4:20-24

Spirit in Greek means (pneuma) the rational soul or breath. Spirit in Hebrew means (ruwach) to breathe; by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being.     Judges 11:29; Genesis 2:7

Corrupt worship-immoral and perverse; to make morally impure.     Romans 1:18-32

The angels praise God and the 24 elders bow down and worship.     Revelation 4:8-11; Isaiah 6:1-3

Praise

Praise means to exhalt, enlarge or raise up.  It is an act of worship or acknowledgement of another.  Boast in Hebrew (halal) means self celebrate to shine, sing, be worthy of praise.  Boast in Greek means glory, joy and rejoice.  Oh come let us sing to the Lord.  Psalms is a song accompanied by instrumental music.  Psalms 34:1-2; Psalms 95:1

We are to praise God for who He is, what He does, what He's doing and what He's about to do.  God created us to praise Him. 
Psalms 150:2

Sing His Praise

Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with loud noise. Psalm 33:3

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Ephesians 5:19

My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed:  I will sing and give praise.  I will praise thee, O Lord amoung the people:  I will sing unto thee among the nations. Psalms 57:7, 9

So I will sing praise unto thy name forever, that I may daily perform thy vows. Psalms 61:8

I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:  I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. Psalms 104:33
