What the Bible says about the Church.

That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth; even in Him:  And hath put all things under His feet and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.     Ephesians 1:10, 22-23

He saith unto them, but whom say ye that I am?  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God.  And Jesus answered and said unto him, blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.  And I say unto thee, that thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.     Matthew 16:15-18

And built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the cornerstone; in Whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:  In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.     Ephesians 2:20-22

For as the body is one and hath many members and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body:  so also is Christ.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we are Jews or Gentiles, whether we are bond or free;  and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.  For the body is not one member but many.
If the foot shall say, because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
And if the ear shall say, because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing?  If the whole body were hearing, where were the smelling?
But now hath God set the members everyone of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. And if they were all one member, where were the body?  But now are they many members, yet but one body.
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee; nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble are necessary;  And those members of the body, which we think less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
For our comely parts have no need;  but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all members rejoice with it.  Now ye are the body of Christ and members in particular.
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.     1 Corinthians 12:12-28

Of Whom the whole family in heavan and earth is named.  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.  Amen     Ephesians 3:15, 21

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!     Psalm 133:1
