The Knight's Sword

To start this quest you must have the following:

10 Mining
10 Cooking or a Redberry Pie
2 Iron Bars

This is probably the second most useful non - member quest in the game, due to the tremendously useful reward you get for completing it. You start this quest by speaking to the Squire. He tells his tale of losing his master's sword that was passed down and asks you to make a replica. He tells you about the Imcando Dwarves and sends you to Varrock to speak to the librarian about the Imcando Dwarves. Go to the Varrock Palace and speak to Reldo about the dwarves. He tells you that Imcando Dwarves are almost extinct, they love Redberry Pie, and that one may still be living, south of Rimmington.

Get a Redberry Pie, or make one, and go to Rimmington, which is east from Port Sarim. Then, walk along the shore to the most southern point where you'l find Thurgo. Speak to him about the sword then offer him the Redberry Pie. He agrees to make you a replica of the sword if you can get him a picture of it. Go back to the White Knight's Castle and talk to the Squire again. He tells you that there is a picture of the sword in Sir Vyvin's room. Go upstairs to the third floorand go to Sir Vyvin's room. Get a friend to distract him by talking to him or wait until his back is turned to open the cupboard and search it for the picture. Take it back to Thurgo and he tells you that he needs 2 Iron Bars and 1 Bluerite Ore. Sounds simple, but unless you a high level, it won't be.

NOTE: If you are level 45 or below then it would be wise to bring protection from a person who's qualified to fight the level 57 Ice Warriors and level 58 Ice Giants.

Bring your pickaxe and venture all the way to the end of the cave which is underground on top of the hill behind Thurgo's hut. Mine the ore, bring it back to Thurgo and have him make you the sword. Bring it back to the Squire to complete the quest. Now the reason this quest is so useful is because you gain 12,750 smithing experience from it!
