| Demon Slayer To start this quest you must have the following: 1 gp 25 Normal Bones Bucket of Water Start this quest by talking to the gypsy in the tent in central Varrock (by the fountain). She asks you to give her some gold. Do so and she gives you your fortune. She reveals that you have to defeat the demon Delrith. Now you have to make your way to the palace to the north and find Sir Prysin and ask about the sword Silverlight. He tells you that the sword is locked away and that you need to get three keys to get it out. Get the first key by heading to the kitchen in the east part of the castle on the ground floor. Fill your bucket or jug at the sink if you have to, then head outside by the kitchen. Use the jug/bucket of water on the drain to flush the key down the drain into the sewers. Next head out of the east entrance of the castle and lookj for a manhole to the sewers (its the big exlamation mark on your radar). Climb down the manhole and go the left and up the passage until you reach a tiny river of sludge. To the left should be your first key, under a drainpipe. While you are in the sewers, kill 25 rats and collect their bones. Then make your way to the Wizard's Tower south of Dryanor Village and take them to the wizard Traiborn on the second floor. He gives you the next key. Go back to Varrock and go back to the castle and go to the north-west corner. Climb the steps upstairs twice and talk to Captain Rovin. He gives you the final key. Go to Sir Prysin and give him the keys. He gives you the sword. Now for the confrontation. Equip Silverlight and head to the south entrance of Varrock. Make sure you have some food and are at least level 20 before attempting to attack Delrith. Head to the right of the entrance and attack him. If you pull through, you will beat him. But before you celebrate you have to recite that echantment to get rid of him forever. The incantation is: Carlem Aber Camerinthum Purchai Gabindo Presto, quest complete! And you get to keep the Silverlight sword, whose demon weakening effect also works on Lesser Demons, Greater Demons, and Abyssal Demons! |
