30th Season: Shows at NAT
This is a collection of photos I took of some of the shows I designed this past season at New American Theater.  I took them with the digital camera, so the picture quality isn't as great but at least I was able to get something on the web.  Amen for Photoshop!  Eventually I'll get my hands on a scanner and be able to post better pictures taken with a real camera.
This is Romeo and Juliet.  It played from February until early April (I think).  We wanted to go sort of industrial and create an uncomfortable world for these characters.  People here tell me it's the biggest thing NAT's done in years.
This is  Wait Until Dark. It ran from late April until mid May. It takes place in a basement Greenwich Village apartment so we went with exposed brick, tall baseboards, and a "linoleum" floor.
there's no place like home......
I found more pics of Ain't Mishbehavin' on another disk, so now you can see it too!  Each one of the piano keys in the back lit up individually during the musical numbers.
