Fall 2001 Issue of Perspectives:
"As directed by the 2001 National Convention, the NBD has created a new staff position under the National Membership Director: Alumni Assistant.
The responsibilities of this positions are to:
*Initiate contact with recent alums per the Graduating/Separating Report form.
*Encourage AAL to reactivate/colonize Alumni Chapters.
*Facilitate development of Alumni interest groups.
*Work with the Membership Director and committees to update publications.
*Assist in researching AAL concerns.
*Submit reports to the Membership Director as directed.
*Submit reports to the NBD at the Summer meeting and Pre-Convention meeting.
*Assist the Membership Director with alumni affairs.
*Perform other duties, related to GSS alumni, as directed by the NBD.
It is my pleasure to announce that your new Alumni Assistant is Ladonna M. Carpenter. Ladonna is an AAL from the Zeta Zeta Chapter at the University of Alabama. Please feel free to contact LaDonna or myself at anytime regarding your Alumni Concerns.
