Firefox, the free, open-source browser from Mozilla,
quietly gained enough users in March to finally grab
10 per cent of the web browser market.
Firefox was used by 10.05% of web surfers.
84.7% of users are still hanging on to various
versions of Microsofts IE.
Apples Safari browser took third place with
3.19 per cent of the market.
Netscape was in 4th place with 1.05% of the
market
Opera with 0.54% and Mozilla with 0.34% are
on the verge of extinction.
