View of Schmidt International Speedway
Between the time these pictures were taken and now (July 2003) this track has undergone a tremendous transformation. Overall lap length has been lengthened by about 25% with the addition of two new inside straight-aways and a relocated curve> New pictures will be uploaded soon. Located in central St. Charles County, this great new track is smooth as silk and extremely fun to drive with a nice mix of varying radius corners and mix of right/left hand turns. And that long center straight away! Horsepower is needed, but handling can't be forgotten. Owner/builder Dan Schmidt has installed drivers stations at two different locations around the track. This gives the drivers a completely different perspective of the track. No one will get bored or relax too much driving this track.
Lazy-O-Ridge Drag Strip (LORDS)
