First Assembly keeps GSN at
a distance |
(AP) - After having watched GSN start quickly in game one, First Assembly
would not be caught off guard in the nightcap.
First Assembly peppered Gentle Shepherd for nine runs
early on—claiming an insurmountable 9-2 lead after three innings.
"The Kids" did score at least one run for five consecutive innings starting
in the second, but in the end their offense was not productive enough to
pick up the victory.
Grant Vass and Rich Thompson each scored twice for GSN in a losing
effort. |
