For 39 days, 16 castaways were stranded
in Asia. Every 3 days on the island became a 1-hour

eliminated pockets $25,000. Each successive eliminated contestant
wins more money, through the next-to-last Survivor, who receives
$100,000. The final Survivor wins a million dollars!

concentrate Thursday's prime time to showing college boys NOT studying
for finals, it's Survivor: All-Stars!)
NIGHT 19: HOME ALONE
Kathy rides the roller coaster from the highs of partying on a yacht to
the lows of returning to an empty Camp Mogo-Squared and trying to save
the meager fire from one of many downpours that have hit the region.
Then the others sulk in, sans Colby (who is sans his hat), and go right
to the fire. No "Hey, Kathy"s or "How was your day, Kathy"s or even a
hug. But that's not Mogo Mogo, says Kathy. She thinks the tribe is
"in the middle" and it's too late for them to rally from their deficit.
DAY 20: BLAME IT ON THE BELLBOY
Well, Ethan feels like a complete arse for that heartfelt acceptance of
blame yesterday. He thought Jerri was going to be gone, not counting
on Colby getting the swing vote from Shii Ann. He also thinks he's not
as close to Lex as he thought because of Lex's vote for him.
Jerri...she feels evil...and happy! She made it longer than Colby,
which was her main goal. "The bellboy took all my baggage away," she
says with a laugh.
REWARD CHALLENGE: ROLLING THUNDER
We have a message in our Tree-Mail to send a representative of our
tribe to Camp Chapera...and to prepare to receive a member of Chapera.
Since Kathy is already comfy with the red Buff wearers, we elect her to
go back to the ones that fed her yesterday. We, in turn, receive
Jenna, who brings a bottle just like the one Kathy took with her.
Inside is a note with instructions for Jenna. She is to choose any
three items from our camp (save personal items and clothing) that she
would like to play for in the Reward Challenge, write them down in
private and return to Chapera. We can only suspect Kathy is doing the
same.
Later, at the same place where Richard "violated" Susan, Jenna and
Kathy approach Uncle Jeff first with their lists, followed by the
tribes. Uncle Jeff takes the lists and explains that the challenge is
a log roll between tribe members of the same gender. First to five
people downed wins reward. Jenna has chosen to put up our grill, a bag
of rice and the "Hawaiian sling" (the fishing spear). Kathy, on the
other hand, chose to put up one of Chapera's blanket, the parachute
from their shelter challenge win and their tarp. And we thought Kathy
was gonna turn on us! Good choosing!
Shii Ann and Alicia start the show. They do a bit of trash talking to
each other...until Alicia missteps and falls in, putting us up one-nil.
Rupert and Ethan then square off, boots against sneakers. They both
hit the log...but Rupert has more gravity pull so he hits the water
first to make it two-nil. The two "ambassadors" - Jenna and Kathy - go
next, but Kathy outsmarts herself and goes in first. Lex and Bahstin
Rob go next and use strategy a bit more before Lex does a somersault
into the drink to tie things up. Jerri and Amber are the last ones in
order (since Big Tom sat out). Amber looks confident and makes Jerri
spin herself into the drink, putting Chapera up 3-2.
New match-ups are drawn randomly for the second cycle...but Shii Ann
and Alicia draw each other again. Both take the time and pick their
spots, but Alicia slips again, tying the game for us. Ethan and Rob go
next, both with wet and squeaky sneakers. They try a few times to
start and stop the log, but it Ethan who finally gets overpowered.
Chapera is one win away from taking our grill, rice and sling! It's up
to Kathy to keep us in the game. She faces Amber...and Amber starts to
roll the log slowly...and Kathy can't keep up. She falls...Chapera
wins...and at least we won't have to have much rice tonight.
NIGHT 20: TO CATCH A THIEF
OK, we're bumming. We don't want Jenna to take our stuff. But why
fight it? We lost it fair and square (it seems to be what we do best
lately). So Up comes the boat, out comes Jenna...and away go our shish
kabob grill and the sling used for fishing. However, Jenna (on behalf
of Chapera) has decided to TRADE our items for some soap, brushes and
TP. Shii Ann tries to talk Jenna out of taking our full bag...and
Jenna, nice girl that she is, agrees to take the quarter-full bag
instead. And Jenna is right: we are NOT happy!
DAY 21 - IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: HARD TARGET
We're having a little target practice today. First with blowguns, then
with spears. The tribe with a shot closest to the center of the target
each time gets two arrows for the final round while the other gets one.
The final round is one-on-one with the arrows won. The tribe closest
to the center of the target gets Immunity. Alicia is sat out for
Chapera, the rain starts falling...and the game is on.
The blowgun is an exercise in futility. Jerri is the only one who
actually HITS the target, so Mogo Mogo gets two arrows. The
spear-tossing is OUR downfall, though. Rupert throws a good toss that
can't be beat, even though we DID hit the target once thanks to Ethan
that came CLOSE and once with Lex that...well, it didn't. We're tied
with three arrows each.
So it's down to the archery tourney. The two playing the part of
Sheriff of Nottingham and Robin Hood are Jerri for us and Bahstin Rob
for Chapera. Rob gets "rock-crushes-scissors" and elects to go second.
Though Jerri HAS experience with the bow and arrow, she misses her
first arrow. Rob's bro was a bow hunter, but didn't give Rob enough
lessons as HIS arrow goes wide left. Jerri's second attempt...is wide
again. Rob's second arrow...hits the VERY edge of the target. Jerri
has one more chance...and it goes wide right AGAIN! Chapera wins...and
we lose AGAIN!
(Gordo, I'm gonna GET you for this!)
(Gordogram - Well, you still haven't cleaned Chico's car yet, and...come to think of it, I need a pedicure. Where's my pumice and scrubbies?)
TRIBAL COUNCIL: MEN OF HONOR
Needless to say, Jerri feels wholly responsible for the tribe losing
again and is scared to death about being voted out. Lex, her only
friend, pulls her aside and tells her that ETHAN will be the one to
go...and Jerri's relieved! Lex then works on Shii Ann...then talks to
Ethan about friendship and the game.
Lex TELLS Ethan that the Africa winner will be voted off tonight...but
he feels horrible about it! Ethan says Jerri doesn't deserve to be
here much more that he does...and he's upset. He talks to Kathy about
it, saying there's no sense of security with Lex around, but Kathy says
she can't trust ANYONE in the game. She's not sure WHO to vote for.
The sun goes down and we head for the treehouse again, where Uncle Jeff
talks to Jerri about her goof, and she's comfortable with whatever
happens. Shii Ann says it could have happened with anyone, and Kathy
thinks Jerri is justified with her paranoia. Ethan, the last previous
winner left, thinks he's a threat but also and advantage. Lex,
however, thinks he probably WOULD vote for a previous winner if he made
it that far (and Ethan shakes his head at this).
It is time to vote. Shii Ann starts off, followed by Ethan ("Jerri, I
put my life in your hands and you blew it!"), Jerri, Lex ("It's really
'E-Z' (what he wrote, meaning "Ethan Zaun") to win with grace and
dignity, but it's harder to LOSE with that same grace and dignity")
and, lastly, Kathy.
Uncle Jeff tallies the votes...but it's not even close. By a 4-1 vote,
Ethan's torch is snuffed. He says as he leaves, "Have fun, play hard
and don't let the bedbugs bite!"
So there WILL be a new million-dollar winner! But...will there be a
merge?!
