Well, it's finally happened.

Well, no not about the past Survivors coming back - we all knew that the people would return. I am more happy about the fact that one of the the people that I have covered have FINALLY won Survivor. That is the first time in 7 tries that it has happened. Now, if Ithis was to happen for the second straight time, then one of these 6 people would be winning it -

Richard (Survivor Borneo) - The original granddaddy of Survivor. Everyone wants his ass booted out of the game - preferably clothed, not a naked ass.

Lex (Survivor Africa) - The tattooed guy got jobbed out of first place. Now he and his gut are looking to make amends.

Colby - (Survivor - Australia) - another person who got jobbed - but by his own hands when he picked Tina instead of Keith to accompany him to the finals and presented her the check for the million. Can he make the jump?

Shii Ann (Survivor Thailand) - She got ostracized by her group from the get-go and never really had a good shot to stay in the game. Can she make amends this time around?

Kathy (Survivor - Marquesas) - Her clothing (or lack of) cost her the game when she pulled a Janet Jackson.

Jenna (Survivor - Amazon) - She did win her Survivor - but she wasn't deemd a threat - and she was very good at staying under the radar. Could she do it again?

We start off with a machete a canteen - and that's it. No utensils, no tools, and we have to create our own fire. Surprisingly, there is no flames at camp (with the exception of Richard), while our tribe surprisingly gets along.

'People are a little bit paranoid - and that's a good state to have them in.' says Richard. His thought are justified, as the women immediately start to plot to get rid of the guys. The only problem with that? Rich was right behind them eavesdropping. Oops. At thispoint, Rich tells everyone to come over so that they can all vent about alliances and bring it out in the open.

Lex is the rational one, as he says that they cal ally later after they get the shelter and food going. Shii Ann says to just win - and then they could put all of the alliances on the back burner. Richard says that he knows that he is the biggest target in the game - and he knows that he needs to stir things up.

The best way to stir things up? Use one of the tactics that he used on the first Survivor and get naked, of course. He is in the ocean and the women ask him if he has seen any good rocks. He starts to come out of the water and Shii Ann asks if he's naked. Rich - 'Would it shock you?' He starts to walk out - and sure enough, he's au natural. 'Yep, he's naked' says Shii Ann, adding 'We're off to an interesting start.'

What would be a great start is if they can get fire going. 'Yeah, I think I can start the fire without them blinking...but they don't need to know that.' If you remember, Rich created the fire in the first one - but he is holding it off for strategy. Everyoene else is noticing it, but Lex says 'He was the king when he wasplaying with a bunch of sheep.' Shee Ann 'Everyone wants to dethrone the king...I personally think - what fun would it be if the king left the first day? - it wouldn't be any fun.' Meanwhile, Rich and Shii Ann are spending a decent amount of time talking in the bushes - alone. A potential alliance? Hmmmmmm...

Well, if we win the first challenge, then we won't have to worry about alliances. We all come in, and the biggest reactions that we got from our team was the sights of Rudy, Jerri, Alicia and Susan. Hmmm....

Here is how immunity works. Since we have 3 tribes this time around, the top 2 tribes win immunity. The third tribe is screwed. The first challenge is a version of the first challenge ever in Survivor - Quest for Fire. The teams have to untie a raft and bring it with them to the shore past a finish line. On the way, they need to light up torches and move it over and under obstacles to get there. Chapera, who is easily the most athletic group, comes in first. Remembering all the way back to the first episode, Richard's original tribe lost this challenge - but not this time. We come in second, which is good enough to stave off elimination.

We hold off the alliance building for noe - but will we have to connive on the next episode? We'll find out in 7 days.
